Thanawat "Shane" Promwaen, at just 15 years old, achieved an astonishing 4th place at the International Super Cup Kiteboarding Championship held on Jeju Island, South Korea. Competing against seasoned athletes, Shane, youngest in the professional men’s category, showcased remarkable skill and determination.

The Championship faced significant setbacks due to adverse weather, resulting in only four races being completed instead of the originally planned ten. Despite these challenging conditions, Shane’s early strategic performance and adaptability secured his impressive finish.

Shane’s triumph extends beyond personal victory. It resonated deeply with his family and fans, igniting pride in Thailand's burgeoning kiteboarding scene. His aspirations to represent Thailand at the youth Olympics have gained significant momentum following this spectacular performance.

Upon his return to Thailand this week, Shane will dive straight back into training. His next challenge awaits at the Formula Kite and TT Open Asian Championships in Daishan, China, just next week, reported The Pattaya News.

Sure it´s a very good achievement. However, 15 years old. He look like 9-10.

It's the kid who zipped across the GoT earlier this year, and according to this he is 9 years old.:
