That's how every Trump supporter always reacts to any truths told about Trump. It's always labeled as media bias or a lie.

It's like when people defend Trump as having "done nothing wrong". But yet he's a convicted criminal. It's always facts versus Trump supporter lies who always say that things are actually in reverse of the truth and facts.

So what you really have is media facts versus Trump supporter bias and lies.

Again, furthest from the truth. In the words of Lindsey Graham right after the debate: “Disaster.” Trump was unprepared, and his debate team should be fired, Graham told Tim Miller, host of The Bulwark Podcast.

…“The most important point tonight was that President Trump called out Vice President Harris for all talk and no action”. Graham

Ultimately it comes down to…

They both are trying desperately to win over the undecided,Swing state voters

The Independent voters who have no allegiance to either party, dem or gop.

Trump is  fighting against a heavily entrenched machine ,the Washington Establishment .

As a supporter i dont like wars and paying for them , millions upon millions of illegals crossing the border.

We dont like the high cost of food & energy. I dont want my government using my tax dollars paying for illegal migration and other countries wars.

Never thought I'd be posting from the Trump-favorite New York Post... But today is an auspicious day!

If this is what the NYP is saying, they you know just how really bad it was for Trump.

Harris campaign calls for second debate less than an hour after Trump’s performance is panned by critics

Trump debate performance panned as well-prepped Harris gets help from ABC moderators: ‘3 on 1’

Perhaps that's because, as CNN has already reported in posts previously posted here, their count had Trump putting toward more than 30 falsehoods during the debate, compared to just a handful of disputed claims by Harris.

It sounds merely like the debate moderators challenged Trump to respond on his torrent of lies.

The debate is about to start share your observations here.

Did look at it given that there would be absolutely no new information or anything worth while wasting time on a “show”

When did it become the debate moderators job to "fact check" the debaters?  That should be left to the other debater.  Makes it far too easy for the mods to insert themselves into the action,  when they really need to keep out of the spotlight.

The RIght: Donald Trump Won!!!

Me: The United States Public Lost

It was awful. Best line was Trump telling Harris we go wake up Biden and go to WH and sign off on some orders.

Just watched a clip of the Obama-Romney debate where realtime fact checking was done and Romney stepped in it,

so it isn;'t the first time.

It's a Trump strategy, let loose a poop storm of lies, impossible for opponent to counter them all.

That Democrats approve of infants being killed after birth.

That immigrants (Haitian by the way) are eating pets in Ohio.

That the Central Park Five pleaded guilty. (Common Trump theme?).

First 2 preposterous and false, third easily refutable as it is a matter of public record.

But if let stand you would see them repeated on this thread tomorrow.

(Might see them repeated anyway....).

And to think the media will spin a story saying the debate was good. It was a train wreck. Harris is so empty and Trump just rants. China and Russia would be laughing.

Yes, it was a train wreck, for Trump. Even the MAGA news outlets agree with you.

Per Forbes:

"While the betting markets believe the election remains fairly close, this is a strong consensus among bettors that Harris won the debate. Polymarket bookmakers believe Harris has a 98% chance of being judged the winner of Tuesday night’s debate in consolidated post-debate snap polls.

Big Number

2.7%. That is the size of Harris’ lead over Trump in national polls, according to FiveThirtyEight’s weighted average."

https://www.forbes.com/sites/siladityaray/2024/09/11/harris-surges-past-trump-in-election-betting-markets-after-presidential-debate/

Also, as reported and sourced previously in this thread, both the Washington Post and Fox News both did post debate focus groups with undecided voters, and in both cases, the majority said Harris won the debate.

As for your cited Reuters report:

"Reuters interviewed 10 people who were still unsure how they were going to vote in the Nov. 5 election before they watched the debate. Six said afterward they would now either vote for Trump or were leaning toward backing him. Three said they would now back Harris and one was still unsure how he would vote."

All of ten people...well, that certainly calls it!  🙂

Nobody won. America lost. Awful debate.
