Travellers Vent Frustrations Over Soaring Costs, Two-Tier Pricing, and Cannabis Concerns
No it's not. If you believe otherwise, then please present your evidence using valid data. I'm reluctant to give such stupidity that amount of oxygen.... But.. here goes.. There are not a lot of information which isolate 'sea' from natural water - but there are some... (natural water otherwise includes rivers, lakes, quarries etc). https://www.royallifesaving.com.au/about/news-and-updates/news/2025/mar/104-lives-lost-to-drowning-in-waterways-and-swimming-pools-this-summer 104 drownings in Australia in 2024/2025 Summer. - 32% of drownings were at beaches. - 11% were in swimming pools. Reasons: In swimming pools most deaths / drownings were attributed to Lack of supervision, inadequate fencing... In the sea, most deaths / drownings were attributed to Rip currents, alcohol, overconfidence... You fall into the 'over-confidence' category... though given your postings a fence would protect you from banging your head and drowning in a pool... -

Who here follows the financial media?
I am big into tech. Lately especially the cyber security and software that AI will need. For AI the road thus far has been like this chips------>data centers and equipment suppliers cooling systems fiber optics etc.-----> as the chips start to stand it is is software to deploy it. It has been a go to as they aren't affected by tariffs. A couple weeks ago on this very site I called Palantir, Servicenow, zscaler and a few others. They have just been smoking hot. I like sectors with a huge TAM and their products increase their TAM as they are developed. Making chips leads to making more chips. Making software leads to making more software . -

BREAKING NEWS Carney WINS Canadian Elections
That is not "progressive". A few overlapping positions with responsible governments does not make one "progressive". -

All of whom are fortunate enough to have had the means to travel to a far away exotic country to visit or retire. Your average Thai living in Isaan could only dream about that. It's all relative. -

Crime Taxi Driver Blocks Ambulance, Leading to Patient’s Death in Patong
Valid point about deterrents... the levels of apathy within enforcement here in Thailand seems to actively 'enable' many of the issues... ... Drunk idiots misbehaving in the street - they'd not behave like that in Doha, Dubai, Singapore etc... Then there are the idiot drunk drivers wouldn't drive like that in the UK or UAE etc... They only behave like this in Thailand because they think they are superior and can get away with it... The same as many issues here in Thailand - Motorcyclists don't bother will helmets, drivers run red lights, others drive recklessly - they know there is very little chance of them being penalised by the law - there is no to little deterrent.
