Got a statistic? Got a definition of mass shooting for that statistic?

In the States, a mass shooting is where more than 4 people are killed or wounded.

From The Telegraph -

Quote

This year, there have been at least 403 mass shootings - defined as a shooting involving at least four victims, dead or wounded - across the United States, according to the Gun Violence Archive.

Bit harsh so probably wouldnt fly. But gun criminals always catch a break under the Harris regime. Look at the stats out of NYC and Chicago.

Now, me, right wing white man  if I capped some homeless skell on the NYC subway who was eating the liver of a 6 year old after beating her to death, with a legally purchased and owned somewhere else fine firearm like a Vickers Luger or even better, a Webley Fosberry, Id get arrested and prosecuted for Manslaughter and weapons posession and my $16,000 revolver would end up on the stash in Gracie Mansion.

Exactly correct, and why the problem will never be solved.  Crime is too profitable to the system.

Not the dem or rep states or cities, its the prosecutors & courts, with their plea bargaining and lax sentencing.

There should not be such a thing as a "repeat violent offender", especially if a gun is used in any crime, or even in their possession illegally.

The citizens have the system they apparently want, or they would simply change it.   Talking, blaming, arguing about it does nothing.   These laws and officials is what they voted for and accept, so that's what the get.

Well actually, an entire philosophical regime would have to be dismantled.

A Legislature can make Poss of a Weapon non plea bargainable, but then it will also need to fund new jails for those who cant make bail while awaiting trial. Need extra courts too.

With no repeat offenders, so much less profit all around, since the problem got solved.

Got to lobby for more everything; police, equipment, jails, lawyers/Unis, courts, judges, staff, security.  And appeals, probation, rehab programs.   It all adds up to billion or trillions $$$$

Sort of like curing diseases, no repeat customers.  Cure gun crime, where's the profit in that.  IMHO

Never trust Wikpedia

If you're going to question every source, and supposedly quoting the FBI.  Then conversation over.  PICK ONE

Have a nice day.

Especially if its just black folks shooting other black folks, no sense solving the problem by increasing law enforcement resources, lets just encourage it through bad policies.

Thats why 128 folks got shot in Chicago on July 4.

But hey, its the fault of law abiding gun owners, repubs, capitalists, racists, America itself. Lets use bare numbers to make political points by ignoring what the real story is.

You too. I was already familiar with the FBI source. You misunderstood my point, but thats the way it is.
