ZONTES 350

I like the Zontes but if I ever move up from my ADV 160 I'd probably get a Forza 350.

My friend insists the ADV 350 is the bike to get but AFAIK the Forza has the automatic adjustable windscreen and smaller footprint for riding in heavy Thai traffic.

I've ridden the older Forza and the new ADV 350. For me the ADV 350 is almost too big of a bike. I really need to test ride the Forza 350 before deciding to pull the trigger.

For me Forza 350 was better, electric windshield is very useful and addictive, seat bigger and lower, foot floor more comfy for my leg size, I don't like the higher, wider handlebar on ADV 350, good for manoeuvring off-road, but I never go there...! General wind/rain protection better on Forza...

Anyway, best to rent for a day and check for yourself, very subjective and generally not big differences and can get used to a bike anyway...

Having ridden them back to back over several hours - The Zontes makes a lot of sense, but the honda's 50+ year track record for reliability and strong re-sale values, makes the Honda my choice ...

This is supposed to be the lightest and fastest in the 386 range, but I've seen it up close, it's smaller than G and M, less luxury and simpler design, less room under seat, smaller gas tank, to be honest it's more of a competition to PCX really...!

I love my Forza 350 and it was great for handing the traffic around Pattaya/Jomtien etc.

Test driving is an interesting concept in Thailand....................I bought mine from a guy on Pattaya's Darkside and you can rent before buying. I only needed 20 minutes going up and down soi Siam Country Club.

Actually I'm now renting a Honda Forza because I'm replacing both tires on my 2024 ADV 160 at 11,000km. Gotta run right now I'll report back in a few hours.

A lot of things look cool without being safe or practical. Just look at the extreme ape hanger bikes Orange County Choppers built back in the day. I bet a few of those who had a bike like that built, or bought one, got a reality check sooner rather than later.

Maybe this movie is partly to blame. I have to admit, it made me dream back in the day, but

I rode my stock honda 750 cross country in 1975. I was 17.

I bet that stock Honda 750 was a dream compared to those monkey hangers.

Man, but Fonda's ride was so bad ass.

He shaped a whole generation bikers there and a few more coming later 😁

Me included, but I had Japanese quality from day one, and never looked back

I rented the Forza around noon and took a quick trip to my visa agent in Pattaya. Of course it was tougher to park than my 160 and I did make an older Thai mad by parking so close to his bike it barely touched his exhaust. My first impressions are that the ride is not super smooth but it's a quantum leap above my 160. Second impression is I feel safer as this is such a heavier and solid bike. It wasn't until later, around 9PM that I wanted to ride down to my new house in Rayong, about 40KM away. That's when I really got the feel for the Forza. It's such a blast to ride and the almost instant accelleration is very addicting. It's actually quite simple for me; for the crowded city the 160 is so much easier to get around, but it's practically a toy bike compared to the Forza. On the highway, the Forza is a no brainer what a fantastic ride!

I can see myself with both bikes in my driveway within the next few months.

Am intrigued by the trailer. For years I read that you can't register them with the Land Transport Dept. (No problem for sidecars). I would love to get a bike with a trailer for camping but don't want to get pulled over constantly.

Ok, I had the Forza for a day and rode it down to Rayong it was such a great ride it's really a must have motorbike. But man, it's not so easy in crowded Pattaya traffic.

I returned the Forza today and got my ADV 160 bac(with new tires) and the traffic was god awful..I mean what's going on? both Chaiyaphruek and Sukhumvit were a nightmare. So, in this case having the ADV 160 was a relief.

Thankfully, I should be fully moved to my house in Rayong by month's end. I'll still come up to Jomtien/Pattaya..at first fairly regular and eventually, only on rare occasions. A Forza makes more sense down there.
