Israelis do not have to gibe up their unique character and culture, but I would hope they could do that in a state that included other types of people and religions.

Strictly speaking, the Jews could go back where THEY came from - Egypt.  (Read Exodus in the Torah or the Bible Old Testament.)

Uh, as far as my limited Bible knowledge- the Jews were slaves in Egypt. They were taken TO Egypt FROM Israel. That is the purpose of the Exodus- to return home. Moses parting the Red Sea, crossing the SInai, etc. All to go home.  Egypt wasn't home. It was their prison.

I also have limited Bible knowledge. I was raised a Christian but since have rejected all that "God" mumbo-jumbo, and am now an atheist. I didn't know for sure where the Jews lived before they were enslaved in Egypt, so I asked Copilot, an AI tool, which reported the Jews (Hebrews) lived in the Land of Goshen. Goshen was an area close to what is now Israel/Palestine, but not actually in Israel.

The Jews did not "go home," as in RETURING home, but, according to the Bible, were led to Canaan by "God" (kind of like Copilot), where they took the land from the Canaanites. That land, more recently, was called Palestine but is now called Israel.

Hope this clarifies things a bit. Whew! 🙂

In that case, Israel will get control of Alexandria, Cairo, the headwaters of the Nile River, and the Suez Canal, as well as the pyramids of Egypt. And give current Israel to the Palis.  Sounds like a pretty good deal. Let's take it to the UN.

The UN has already acted on this in 1947. That was when they divided up the area, which was then called Palestine, into areas assigned to PalestinianArabs and Jews. The Jewish areas were subsequently called Israel. Here is a map of that UN declaration.

Origin of Israel, the Middle East history that led to War

As you can see, the Jews did not have all of that land, and the boundaries were certainly much different from what they are now.
