Good for you! You stated a fact! Yes, one of the most celebrated American journalists.

What does his ability in journalism have to do with what I find to be real or what's made up? He's the journalist, he's won the Putlitzer Prize and had an entire freakin' movie made about him and yes, he's got quite a lot of credibility that dates from, oh, 1972?

This is really too easy, can you guys at least come up with SOMETHING that is a bit of a challenge?

He has lots of "unnamed" sources, among other things. And his reputation hasnt always been so impeccable. But you worship who you wish. Even the blind pig can find the acorn

It doesn't matter what you believe.

It matters what the American people believe. The Harris campaign has an ad out in record time on the covid tests he sent to Vladimir Putin, when covid tests were basically unavailable to Americans. The ad also details his close ties to Putin.

No denials about that.

They are denying those phone conversations, as they should be. This will be looked at to see if it a violation of the Logan act.

Bob Woodwards book will be out next week, a good read for the final month of the campaign.

Really? Ads about Putin? Thats gonna convince the undecideds LOL. Makes me laugh, couldnt be sillier.

No, and I'm not making fun of your misquote. Here's the article discussing Trump's noted contempt for the soldiers. You will note that there are numerous examples, not just the one.

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2020/09/trump-americans-who-died-at-war-are-losers-and-suckers/615997/

Here's General John Kelly confirming three years later that Trump said it.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/john-kelly-confirms-trump-privately-disparaged-us-service-members-vete-rcna118543

So I guessing you're going to now pretend if there wasn't footage, then it wasn't said? Even though this account by the Atlantic was corroborated by several witnesses, and the instances of him calling military soldiers who died or were captured "suckers" and "losers" occurred at several different times and locations?

You guys are really terrible debaters. This is a really poor choice as a hill to die upon, so to speak. Given that DJT dodged the draft with bonespurs and has so many times disparaged the military as detailed in that report.

no footage then didn't happen, i'm never going to accept anonymous sources or 'reported'. Kelly is referring to McCain, of which Trump had addressed, the rest is all his word against Trump, and i'd say a disgruntled chief of staff.

Okay, that's good to know. I will remind you of this from this point onwards. You do realize you have just invalidated every and any point you have made or will make so long as there isn't video evidence of same, right?

I fear for your sanity once AI video becomes impossible to distinguish from real video.

BTW, General Kelly was referring to more than John McCain though.

"A person that thinks those who defend their country in uniform, or are shot down or seriously wounded in combat, or spend years being tortured as POWs are all ‘suckers’ because ‘there is nothing in it for them,'" Kelly said of Trump. "A person that did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because ‘it doesn’t look good for me.’ A person who demonstrated open contempt for a Gold Star family — for all Gold Star families — on TV during the 2016 campaign, and rants that our most precious heroes who gave their lives in America’s defense are ‘losers’ and wouldn’t visit their graves in France.”

i have read enough edited or out of context BS written about Trump over the years to understand it is very rarely true. Anonymous sources are the worst,

and yes, you are correct, AI and deep fakes are going to be a major issue in the near future

Pretending to care about homeless, while mewling about the Ukraine?  Trump, Bush & Republicans in general, only economic policy for the last twenty years is to give tax cuts to the wealthy. The last people Republicans care about are homeless, low or middle income. Not that you would really care what happens away from the Volga.

Nobody should listen to Harris on Stern's show, when one can, alternatively listen to a far more likeable human, Sandler.

Why become depressed listening to Harris?

So, "yes". You could have saved us all some bandwidth.

I’ll use up some more bandwidth.  I have huge respect for rank and file members of the military.  I have zero love for our fidiot leaders who treat illegals better than our own kids in uniform.  The ones that are pushing DEI instead of competence.  The ones that are sending our kids on fools’ errands without the resources they need.  The ones who tolerate horrible living conditions across military bases.  The ones that abandon them when they get back, damaged by what we asked them to do for us.

Resulting in recruitment shortfalls, inhumane military housing, no support for struggling vets, and on… and on…

Hence the plural on Freeloaders.

Exxon is the worst. Tax credits for depletion of our resources is nonsense.

Except it does not work that way except in racist fantasies.

You left out the rest of it, here, I'll do it for you.

...and so I unconditionally support the guy who openly disparages those same people and whose party regularly cuts benefits from the soldiers who return. And whose policies will do even LESS for the disabled military veterans should they get into power and enact their agenda.

Wow, for a moment there I thought you were talking about the military in NZ. The comment about "The ones who tolerate horrible living conditions across military bases" was especially true during my time in it.

Stern was always a liberal, pretending to be a Punk Rocker rebel.  He is the epitome of cowardice.  From high school to his actions during Covid, that man is a born coward.  He locked himself in his mansion for 2 years, afraid to come out (aka Howard Hughes), and got 5 injections of vaccine.  He got covid regardless of his stupid actions.  He betrayed Trump, who always came on his show to talk about current events.  Howard uses people for his own benefit and is a disgusting human being.

Stern and trump........as like as two peas in a pod!

But, given the situation where there is only a binary decision between him and Harris, the choice is blindingly obvious. Warts and all, Trump did a good job as President. Harris was an abject failure as VP.  That is what matters

Emphasis on "BLIND(-ingly)". Interesting that blindness could mess up one's cognitive functioning, but I guess that happens some time.

Let's see, beside investigating "Haitian immigrants eating dogs and cats" as Trump's latest claim to fame, what else do we have here during his stint at the WH:

@1:00 "Apply light and heat, erh...you know? Maybe you can, maybe you can't" - suggesting the then supposedly world leader on how to fight covid (in case ingesting bleach won't work.). No wonder the world was laughing in our faces. However, some US citizens think that's a show worth going on.

Amazing that some US folks would choose this clown as their leader. Different strokes for different folks. Nah, "Demented" would be a more apt choice in this instance.

Some folks would prefer sub 2% inflation, low mortgage rates, and cheap gas. Strange, I konw.

Talking of reputations...can you guess where the majority of the Trump merchandise advertised and hawked by DJT is made?

Since the tat he is hawking is for a cmpaign that majors on Making AMERICA great, and bringing jobs back to America, and other similar themes, I think it is extremely relevant.

If Trump truly beleived what he spouts, then surely he would be making sure all his merchandies is USA made?  Please explain to me why not if you disagree.

"disgusting and puerile"? Yeah, quite an apt choice of words from someone who in a not long ago thread quite blithely remarked on abortion as how to get 'fetus remains out of a still "dilated womb". A visual impossible to un-see.
