Topic is the procedure to obtain a TB and ID card, not what it's useful for, but just to put your post into prospective.

In the last 8 years, I've purchased 3 motorcycles, 2 vehicles, 3 driving licences, open two bank accounts and more, all with a YB and ID card.
No agents - no fees!

i never tried, the requirements were ridiculous, ok if you have nothing else to do like you. For a start drag 2 thai people to Pattaya City Hall, 2nd, birth certificate with parents names, 3rd translated passport, but not required for Immigration, it's nonsense for something you don't need

Oh dear, you can't handle the minor inconvenience to get a book where you probably never need a residence letter for anything, you missed that bit out...........😋

Honestly - I can't believe people aren't ignoring Scuba in this thread...  its almost as if he's locked himself in and is doubling down...  & who says 'face is only an asian thing'.... Scuba's showing plenty of it with this hole he keeps digging....

Indeed, he sends a wrong message to those looking for facts because he is too lazy to acquire something that does help......🤔

 

In all my years of living here, I only got a residence letter once, that was before my yellow book.....
