Abbot's Tragic End Sparks Urgent Fraud Investigation in Ayutthaya
In a deeply distressing turn of events, the abbot of a temple in Sena district, Ayutthaya, has been found dead, leaving behind a note outlining his anguish over financial betrayal by a supposed benefactor. The 68-year-old abbot's death has prompted local police to swiftly investigate the alleged fraud, which involved a considerable sum of 650,000 baht. The somber discovery was made by temple devotees on October 20. The note revealed that the abbot had been deceived by a man identified as Lek, who had masqueraded as a benefactor during a Kathin ceremony, a significant Buddhist festival. The note lamented that Lek not only swindled the abbot but also coerced him into borrowing money from nine other temple patrons with a false promise of repayment through lottery ticket profits. Lek's repeated postponements from September onwards had driven the abbot to a state of despair, evidenced in his poignant words: “Lek, a rogue in the guise of a saint, booked the Kathin ceremony and cheated me. I couldn’t bear it any longer and had to do the unthinkable.” Chief of Ayutthaya Provincial Police, Police Major General Chotiwat Lueangwilai, has prioritised the investigation, assembling officers to gather evidence and bring Lek in for questioning. The accused has a history with fraud, linked to three prior cases. As police intensify their efforts, they have issued a summons for the suspect, who is now under scrutiny. Should the suspect fail to appear voluntarily, authorities plan to proceed with an arrest warrant. The community eagerly awaits justice, mourning the loss of a revered religious leader, as they underscore the need to uphold trust and sanctity within the sacred space of faith. 3BB Fibernet installation in a condo
I would like to have 3BB fibernet installed at my condo in Pattaya. I was talking multiple times to 3BB and to the condo management and from what I understood 3BB is only responsible for installation of the fiber optics cable at the ground floor of the condo. They say they cannot install the cable to my room. They advised me to talk to condo management to get a technician install the cable to my room. Condo management refused that as they say they cannot do it and the 3BB must install the cable to my room. In the shop they offered to get some technician install the cable to my room for about 3000 baht. As I understand this technician is 3rd party subcontractor and if there would be some problem with the internet 3BB might say that the technician did the bad work. Is this your experience as well? I am pretty shocked by this. Also shouldn't the cable installation be free of charge up to some length? I read somewhere that up to 300m it is free of charge. I am living on 8th floor and it is surely less than 300m but they still refuse it. Did you pay this 3rd party technician to install the cable to your room? -

Wall street very convinced ,its gonna be Trump
Wall Street isn’t uniformly convinced Trump will win in 2024. Attitudes depend on sector-specific expectations of economic and policy impacts. There are both benefits and risks tied to a potential Trump victory, leading to cautious optimism from some and concern from others. Plus, how many votes are we looking at and how are these "Wall Street" votes distributed State wise? -
