Labour Government’s Bold Claim to “honesty with voters” Has Unraveled Quickly

To be clear it's been a pack of lies all the way from free gear to Rachels' black hole, I'm sure the future' frozen to death pensioner inquiry will find the same 🤔

I think the main offense was giving a pay rise to train drivers already earning a decent wage and then taking winter fuel payments away from old aged pensioners.

Taking winter fuel payments away from pensioners who already have incomes above the support threshold while maintaining the triple lock.

Since then increasing the minimum wage by 6.7%, massively increasing funding to schools and the NHS while not increasing taxes on ordinary working people.

It’s a good start.

The winter fuel cut off is a derisory £215.18 pw not enough to buy a shoelace for that discussing freeloader Keir's designer brogues.

The latest news on the triple lock pension for 2024/25 is that the full state pension will increase by £472 per year from April 2025. This is due to the triple lock, which ensures that the state pension increases each year by the highest of the following three figures: 2.5%, inflation, or earnings growth. The 4.1% increase is in line with the rise in wages.

£9.07p per week (If you are the 1 in 5 who receives full state pension) less 20% tax if your total income is above £12,571pa take away the £200 winter fuel allowance you are not getting! and most will end up with less than a fiver a week .

Whilst the train drivers who held the country to ransom for example got £10k for no extra work.

A completely lying start more like🤔

Taking winter fuel payments away from people on one of the lowest pensions in Europe with one of the highest energy bills in Europe which at best saves £1.4bn and if those struggling manage to complete the 243 question form for pension credits will cost the government more money.   Labours own research said this will kill 4000 people before their time.   Meanwhile they managed to find (borrow) money to throw away on the following:

£11bn wasted on climate payments to Africa.

£13bn wasted on foreign aid

£22bn wasted on "carbon capture"

£3bn wasted on Zelensky

As you have never run a business it's clear you understand as little as the clowns in government of the impact of employers NIC on ordinary working people and how it will force employers to employ less people at lower wages.

I think this is not quite accurate, part of it was that they occasionally worked 5 days a week like the rest of the working population.

Write to the Government and tell them you don’t want the triple lock.

What a stupid statement!
The triple lock is the only salvation for thousand of pensioners who have worked all their lives and paid all of their taxes whilst benefit scroungers get everything for doing nothing all their lives

I think your arguments are unraveling as quickly as Labour's honesty with its voters.

Since when have any politicians been honest?

Labour are making unpopular decisions now (although I thought the Budget was fine, and Reeves is a future leader), knowing that they won't have to face the voters again for 5 years.

Or hold power for a couple of decades after this tyrannical period.

There is nothing unpopular about massively increasing funding to the NHS, increasing funding to schools and increasing the minimum wage by 6.7% while maintaining the triple lock.

Maybe you should check their approval ratings before trying to gaslight people into thinking Labour are popular.

What do approval ratings matter 4 years from the next election!

Because not everyone suffers from your memory issues.

yes, politicians tells fibs, but part of Labour’s manifesto was to be honest. They’’ve been less than honest with the budget, 2 Tier Kier has become free gear kier along with Rayner and Reeves.

I see the Tories are ahead in the latest popularity contest.

Can you point out which parts of the budget contravene which parts of the ‘Labour Manifesto’

Both are available so direct quotes from both shouldn’t be a problem for you.

I have no idea.

Do you?

Are Labour going to stop the power companies, like the EDL and E.on from charging high prices and making huge profits ?

Didnt you claim that that will happen when Labour win the election ?

Stopping power companies making huge profits and investigating corruption during Covid and finding a solution to illegal immigrants is what was promised in the Labour manifesto .

So, when it all going to happen ?

The Tories have made a mistake.   The last thing they need is another WEF puppet as their leader.   Good for Reform though I would think.

When did I make such a claim.

Provide a quote of me stating that.

I did ask you whether you made that claim or not , if you didn't make the claim, then you should reply stating so

  For example :

"Didnt you claim that that will happen when Labour win the election ?"

*No, I didn't make that claim*

No what you did is made up some random nonsense and asked me if I had ever claimed it would happen.

You have absolutely no basis to believe I ever made such a claim, you just dreamed it up.

Why you should dream up such stuff is something I’m not qualified to help you with.

Now go troll someone else.

I did seem to recall you saying such things , but I wasn't sure , that is why I asked .

I shall scroll back through your post history to see whether did did make such claims .

Somebody posted in on here .

I will go and find out who

Please do and when you don’t find what you ‘seem to recall’ feel free to come back and apologize.

Apologies aren't required to be given when asking a person a question .

Have you ever apologised to someone for asking them a question ?

Were you offended by my question ?
