Hello everyone. I hope someone out there knows about my concern. I haven't report my 90 days stay, i am pver due for almost 100 days. What could be the possible worse penalty that i will have? And any sollutions for that? I tried searching and it says that i might pay 2,000 upto 4,000. My concern is i haven't report for almost 100 days, will i still pay maximum 4,000? or should i expect something worse to happen when i report to immigration?

Is it not 500 a day up to 20k?

That is the penalty for overstay, not late/missed 90 day reporting. Missing a 90 day report is not overstay.

There again; they change the rules every five minutes, so you could be shot at dawn !

No change to fines regarding late 90 day report.

They impose 2000THB fine on your next 90 day report.

And stamp it on your passport.

On such an occasion, takes longer than on/in-time case.

But that is all what happens.

Unlike visa overstay, it won't any affect your future.

So kiss some of your money bye and relax.

Yesterday, 1st time in 13 years I found I had missed a 90 Day Report somehow (not showing up in my calendar. Drive through, Chiang Mai Immigration. 2000 baht fine, had to circle around to sign for the fine, collect the new 90 Day Report. Next up Jan. 29.

What's interesting is that I know someone that literally hasn't done the 90day report for years - yet the immigration office still grants them their non-b extension. Every year, year on year. I think they may have made one report many years ago, then just didn't do it after that. I wouldn't recommend that course of action to the OP though. Better just to go in and pay the fine, as getting caught will cause a higher fine.
