I use it for insomnia and ADHD and such, Im just looking for the relaxation effects, but a small dose of THC in there is not bad either. Would really love any recommendations on products and location, if anyone uses them for similar reasons.

Can you narrow down "product"?

Flower? Oil? Extract? Edible?

Budget?

Don't know about the op but I'm using it to compensate the pain in my finger joints caused by arthritis. 0.5g smoked just before bed replaced 8x paracetamol taken throughout the day. Oddly enough, not only did it completely stop the joint pain, but after two months use the swollen joints completely recovered and are now normal again.

I also sleep better!

I find the smoking the high THC, 70%+ Indica hybrid flower the best for my use.

Critical Orange Punch, Tropical Punch, Biscotti all work perfectly.

10-20bht/gram at the usual LINE shops.

I too use it to relieve arthritis.

Waking up this topic.

I'm looking for a source of organic CBD hemp flower to make my own cannabis oil myself.

Basically to save money on buying commercial bottles of the stuff.

Preferably in the Pattaya area but by shipment is fine too.

I don't think you will find that very easily, as you probably shrewdly know. Most of the CBD oil being sold in Thailand, assuming it is even legit, is sourcing it as a chemical extract and then making the oil using that.

But is there a reason you only want CBD and no THC? And what is your main purpose when using it? Sleep? Pain?

I have some ideas on how you can use regular full spectrum flower to make your own oil, but let me know first what is your main objective with it.

I like THC as well for obvious reasons, but I recently bought a few bottles of CBD oil to help with sleep and it seems to help. So I want to make it myself if possible.

Understood. I use regular flower to make my own oil, and it’s really strong, it can get you extremely high. But the difference of just a few drops can have a major impact. Sometimes I want to get high, and sometimes I don’t, so precise dosing matters. I’ve been using the same batch for about a year now and have gotten to know its potency quite well.

Here’s how I typically use it:

4–5 drops: Great for sleep, pain relief, anxiety reduction, and muscle spasms. Almost no noticeable psychoactive effect.

10 drops: A decent high with strong relaxation, plus all the above benefits.

15 drops: A very strong high. You still get some of the other benefits, but it’s not ideal for sleep because the psychoactive effects are quite intense.

I’ve never gone beyond 15 drops, I don’t think I could handle more than that. I also have another batch made with weaker flower. Once, I took 30 drops of that, thinking it would be much less powerful, and it was still way too much, even though it was a milder brew. The high was too intense. Couldn't really handle it. So one needs to be careful. And 30 drops was still only 3/4 of 1ML. So small amounts is usually what's best.

The number of drops I use really depends on the oil’s potency, which comes down to the THC content. So your experience might be different if you make your own oil, even with the same number of drops. Yours could come out what a different level of potency. And your tolerance might be higher or lower than mine, everyone’s different in that respect.

The key is to make your own oil using regular flower, then start experimenting with very low doses. Start with three drops. Then try five. Gradually increase until you find the right amount for your needs, whether it’s just for relaxation with minimal psycho activity, or for a stronger high. Once you’ve dialed it in, your dosing will be consistent every time, as long as you’re using the same batch.

I pretty much use 4-5 drops every night, whether I want to get high or not. It's just nice and relaxing.

I like this combo every once in while also. The best solution in Thailand that I've found is to grow my own autoflower. Royal Queen Seeds sells "Stress Killer" and "Pain Killer XL". I've tried the first and it was mentally refreshing and helped with getting a quality sleep, but it is a small plant and gets powdery mildew really easily. I'm growing Pain Killer right now.

Those two cannabis varieties have a 1:1 ratio of CBD and THC. I've tried mixing CBD flower and THC flower, but it's never quite the same.

Take it as you will.

It's still an unanswered question.

I was taking 6-8 paracetamol a day to reduce the pain and swelling in my finger joints.

But it wasn't completely effective, and my joints were too swollen to wear rings.

Woke up in pain every morning, cycling and using the scooter also hurt the joints.

Since COVID,

Now smoking 0.5g of hybrid 60+% Indica just before bed, pain all gone, swelling all gone.

Rings are now so loose, i have to be careful they don't fall off.

Did an experiment last month, no weed for 20 days, then the pain started creeping back (but no swollen joints).

I am suffering from osteo-arthritis in both knee caps which makes it hard for me to walk very far, even with a walking stick. I would like to try cannabis oil to see if it is any use as a pain reliever.

I live in rural Kamphaeng Phet about 65km from the city but I have not found anywhere yet that sells it. There is some CBD oil available on Lazada which I can order but I would like to know if it is worth ordering it.

I saw a video a while back about the lack of melatonin as we age. It helps you sleep apparently.

I've been using good quality cbd oil in England for a few years. If you get the right stuff, it gives you a

really good nights sleep. The last batch i bought was different and mostly just gave me a headache.

I got some melatonin from the doctor and it helped me sleep for the first few nights, but it also left me feeling

quite drowsy all day.

In Thailand, I buy cheap weed, chop it up small, fry it in oil for a few minutes, then make it into flapjack.

A little bit of that helps me sleep just fine and costs next to nothing.

Good that you found a solution that works for you. But also a lot of effort everyday to make up your bedtime formula.

Why not just make up a batch of edible cannabis oil using about an ounce of quality weed?

Won't cost you much and you can make enough in half a day's time to last you a full year. Then just keep it in the fridge and put a few drops on a teaspoon every night an hour before bed and your done.

Thank you. I have never tried it and where would I get an eye dropper bottle from?

Your welcome. I get them from the link below. Good quality. They offer various sizes, but I prefer the 20ml and 30ml sized bottles.

For making the cannabis infused oil, the link below may also be useful.

You can't get the MCT oil, mason jars, strainers, coffee presses and cooking thermometers on Lazada too.

Thank you once again.

I have ordered a small bottle of cannabis oil from Lazada as a test run, due by Monday 09 June.

If it works then, I will think about carrying on with it, and if it doesn't work for me then I won't have lost much.

Unfortunately there has not been much study been done and peer reviewed about the plus or minus of using cannabis oil in treating osteo-arthritis, so for me it will be a case of giving it a try to see if it works or not.

If it works OK with few if any side effects, then I should know by the end of June.

You’re welcome. I’m not sure what you ordered from Lazada though. When you say cannabis oil, do you mean you ordered some form of cannabis CBD oil being sold on Lazada?

If that’s the case, I’m sorry, but that’s not what I had in mind. I would first be cautious about its authenticity. You mentioned before that you were using real cannabis, cooking it into food, and eating it as a sleep aid and that's what I thought you more interested in doing, creating an edible form of cannabis oil. Now you’re talking about using a CBD product for osteoarthritis.

Well, I hope whatever you decide to use works out for you, but I still think you’d be better off making your own edible cannabis oil from high-quality cannabis flowers. That way, you know exactly what’s going into it.

The only sure way to know what you're getting is to buy hybrid high THC 60+% indica cannabis flower and to smoke it. It's completely cured my finger joint arthritis and I only pay 5bht/GM, my latest order was 514bht for 100gm COD earlier this week. That'll last me 4-6 months.
