Is the New-DEM Party, and its New-DEM message, now dead in the water, in America?

Dear Folks,

Seems obvious that the country, America, and folks of every color in America, have now clearly spoken

Seems that Americans of every color have repudiated the New-DEM message that the New-DEM party has been trying to popularize in America, for over a decade.

Seems the pendulum is now beginning to swing back, gradually, from the very-far craziness of recent years, to what most Americans have always, throughout history, considered to be normal.

Very few Americans with children want their children to grow up in a land guided by the DEM-weirdos, of the past many years.

Can you blame them?

Would you want your children to live in a world envisioned by the NUTZOs running the WhiteHouse, now and in the recent past?

I would not....if I had a child I loved, with all my heart.

I recall the America I once knew before I left the USA in 1979.

THAT America was pretty darned GREAT, and my recollection of that time is not biased by nostalgia.

No.

THAT America was one that I was very-much proud of.

How can anyone be proud of the America of the past few decades, I do wonder.

Would you want to live in a house, a home, a family that is completely out of control?

The pendulumn  seems to be swinging back, now, toward center, and clearly in the direction of more centered values that most people in America feel comfortable with, and agree with, and support.

There is a time for CRAZINESS.

And now, it seems, this recent few decades of craziness are numbered.

Does this marked backlash we have just seen, this repudiation of the New_LEFT message and ideals, reflected in the vote of the country today, mean that America has chosen a different way of life for our next generation, our young people growing up in an America which, during the past years, has been totally OUT OF CONTROL?

I say that maybe, indeed, it's high-time to let Nurse Ratched take over.

We just cannot have the inmates, the DEMS, continue to run the American Asylum.

What do you think?

Am I right, or am I RIGHT?

Even if one is sort of an anarchist, of the Noam-anarchist type...

There must be order, and my alum, Noam, most assuredly espouses the necessity for order.

Depending upon the historical time in question, skirts have gone up, and skirts have come down.....

Yet one thing always remains the same....

Americans desire and need order in their lives.

Without order, at any time in history, Americans found themselves more-or-less adrift....

And unproductive.

Take the Dust Bowl and the Oakies, for example.

Were the Oakies productive, while driving in their jalopies, on their way to California, while their farms were being blown away by the wind?

No....

There needs to be order.

I am not saying that Trump might be the best man to provide this order to American society.

Still, Trump is just a first step in the right direction.

Once the Oakies reached California, and once they found order in their lives, they quickly became far more productive....
And happier, too.

Now you know my meaning.....

Trump is a godsend to America, the 47th, and GREATEST, president, that America has so far known.

Also, when you really look at him, VANCE reminds me much of Abe Lincoln, too.

He has the same beard, pretty much.

He is as smart as Abe, and maybe even smarter, due to the Flynn Effect.

I am happy now because, for the first time in many years....

I actually see a ray of hope on the horizon.

May the Amber Waves of Grain now move forward with the greatest of positivism...during the next four years, and beyond with VANCE.

I might even return to Philly, in the future, if they ever get that city cleaned up, enough.

I remain, ...

Hopefully yours,

Gamma

Doesn't matter.

We just had the last REAL US election.

I am not saying that what you say is not possible.

No way, Sir.

Let us hope, however, that this may not be true.

There is no way to meaningfully debate the future, as I know you must agree.

That people actually believe this is astonishing.

In any case, the hyperbole -- whether actually believed or just being wielded as a weapon -- didn't work. The Democrats failed to convince the majority of the American electorate that Trump is a threat. I'm glad we saw through that.

And this time "majority of the American electorate" really does mean exactly what it says. There are no asterisks about the popular vote to use for obfuscation purposes (however irrelevant they are to right-minded people who actually understand the American constitutional system).

I like VANCE.

And, you write logically, as does VANCE.

I approve of your message.

And, your comment.

This is why they lose. They seem to be permanently divorced from reality and incapable of being honest with themselves on any level. The results only verified who the real weirdos are.

Nurse Ratched...

That was a great move for anyone who doesn't know.  One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.  From the early 70s.  And it was pretty accurate in a lot of ways. The screenwriter and the producer did their homework.  I wasn't a big Nurse Ratched fan, though.  Chief was the hero.  The final scene of the movie is fantastic.

One summer in college, during summer break, I worked in a psychiatric hospital with little kids., ages 5 to 18.  1971 or 1972. I was an attendant on the children's ward.  Anyway, I had to take notes on all the kids every day and I had to go to weekly meetings.  Psychiatrists, social workers, nursing staff, and so on.  It was a real eye opener.  Back then, the solution for every kid seemed to be Thorazine.  Don't know why the kid acts crazy? No problem, just give him some more Thorazine.  Put him into a stupor so he won't make so much trouble.... And the parents were paying big money for their kids to stay there.

Bottom line for the movie and the current political landscape:  society fluctuates between order and chaos. Nurse Ratched was the order, chaos was the natural evolution.  The cultural reaction to authoritarianism.  But sooner or later, the pendulum swings back.  I think we saw the results in the 70s on the streets of New York City:  crazy people released from mental hospitals in droves, most of whom ended up as homeless alcoholics wandering the streets.

I wanted to watch electro-shock therapy one time, so they let me watch some older man shocked out of his mind, so to speak.  There was a whole line of people waiting for the same treatment, right after that one.  Maybe that still goes on?

Very nice post.

In my case, during uni, I stuck needles into the heads of what they called mental patients, at the State Hospital, the loony bin, in order to provide research data for a MD/PhD who was also a shink...I think.

I believe the real name of Nurse Ratched was probably Nurse Wretched.
