Not sure they could be classed as mountains Chris. More like hillocks.

Great pics.

Great pics as usual.

I particularly like the first one today; the water tower.

And two crackers from yesterday.

I'm told the Roi Et

101

refers to the many lakes.

No idea about lakes, i will look. But the meaning in Thai is 101

Certainly some interesting places you visit Chris. That pic (below) is especially nice. Just leads the eye to the mysterious hill in the distance.

Great pics Chris. Brings back memories.

Hua Hin. Used to play chess on Friday evening in the room above the chippy. Quite liked it the place.

Me looking north.

There was a good fishing place about 10k west of the town. Belonged to John Smith's brother I believe.

Mrs Mump caught a Julian Price carp. Never seen one before that day.

The area was quite clean back then. Last there 16 years ago.

Today I went to explore Pranburi Reservoir, after a couple of stops my internet went down, So although I could see where I was on the map, no roads were showing and after getting nowhere quick I just followed roads west and south until I saw a sign for Pranburi. Eventually as I got near the coast my internet started working, and I rode to Khao Tao Beach, here.

I then returned to Hua Hin.

I mostly use google maps but I keep the app Maps.Me on my phone for the times I lose internet.  The Maps.Me app allows you to download maps when online and then seems to work OK when the internet disappears.  Not sure how good it would be for you since you take a lot of out of the way roads but might be worth trying.

I have tried using the google option to download maps but have found it does not work as well without internet.
