Taking Someone Home: Ever Reach Down and Get an Unexpected Surprise?

Recommended Posts

As we all know, Bangkok’s nightlife is famous for its vibrance, variety, and the occasional unexpected twist. We’ve all heard the stories, or maybe even lived some of them. Perhaps there are even tales about the wild things we’ve done ourselves that still resurface in conversation. But what about those nights when you’ve had a few too many drinks, thought you were heading home with one hot specimen of the opposite gender, only to realize later that things weren’t quite as they seemed? Enter the infamous “Tranny Surprise” scenario.

I’m curious how often this kind of “miscommunication” really happens and how people react when they find themselves in such a situation. Have you ever had that subtle moment of realization; your back at your place, reach down, and suddenly discover the wrong plumbing? Did it happen once, and you learned your lesson, or has it managed to catch you off guard more than once? And when it did happen, did you roll with it, cancel the undertaking, or perhaps know all along that this was exactly what you were really looking for?

No judgment here—just genuinely curious to hear your thoughts and experiences in the context of this ever-unpredictable city, where surprises can be very much part of the "package".

Reach down. No surprises. 20 year old Thai Boys/Ladyboys give better service than 40 year old Thai ladies. Same procedures available at lower cost. Less "afterward" problems usually.

are the threads getting more explicit on here or is it just my imagination?

It's probably just your imagination since you said you believe in ghosts, superstition, and wives tales. So just wrap another 15 protective amulets around your neck. In a moment, you'll feel right as rain.

Why, can't you find any younger ones?

The now defunct bob smith would tell you that it's the best thing that could ever happen to you in Thailand. In fact, he used to say that three a year doesn't make you queer!

This is important information, it should be researched before taking home.

Over the many years I've noticed a couple mates of mine take a ladyboy back to their room after I have told them it's a LB. The next morning they make up a story like, OMFG she was a LB, I kicked her out.

These guys wanted to try, I reckon most times if you take one home you know.

Once you reach professional level is easy to spot, even the ones who visually you can't tell, get them talking that gives it away.

If you don't know it's a ladyboy, post op, then it isn't gay, it's only gay if you know it's a man

Post op accounts for less than 20% I think.

I think for many guys, though, once the beer goggles are strapped on, the ability to tell the difference probably drops about 50%
