Mark Evan Halperin (born January 11, 1965)[1] is an American journalist, television cable host, political commentator and founder of the interactive media platform 2WAY. Halperin previously had worked as the political director for ABC News, where he also served as the editor of the Washington, D.C., newsletter The Note. In 2010, Halperin joined MSNBC, becoming the senior political analyst and a contributor. Along with John Heilemann, Halperin served as co-managing editor of Bloomberg Politics.[2] Halperin and Heilemann co-wrote Game Change and Double Down: Game Change 2012, were co-hosts of MSNBC and Bloomberg's With All Due Respect, and produced and co-starred with Mark McKinnon in Showtime's The Circus: Inside the Greatest Political Show on Earth, which followed the presidential candidates behind the scenes of their campaigns in the 2016 United States Presidential Election.

In response to more than a dozen allegations of workplace sexual harassment and sexual assault at his prior position at ABC News, Halperin was fired by both Showtime Networks and NBC News towards the end of October 2017.[3]

What he fails to address in this article is the total focus on the hate rhetoric towards Trump and the total lack of any policies from Harris from MSM. I do understand the latter though as Harris NEVER put forward any real policy statement. this is interesting though.

"Halperin expressed frustration over the inability of many in the media and political circles to grasp Trump’s influence. "I really pleaded with everyone I knew who was a Never Trumper, someone with Trump Derangement Syndrome or super opposed to Donald Trump," he explained. "I said he’s going to get 47% of the vote, and he might get 50. But the difference between 47 and 50 is, you know, several million Americans. You have to respect the fact that tens of millions of people are going to vote for him. And you have to be prepared for that."

Got his forecast a little wrong.

Halperin for Hitler and Trump and Mussolini.  You do not have to respect the fact that tens of millions of people are going to vote for them.  Fascists and their followers are criminals.

Very correct. I don't consider Trump particularly smart, but he is brilliant as a promoter. And he saw how many millions were sick and tired of being told what to do and say, and being told the economy is fine, which it is not, for most people. Harris was pathetic. Trump tapped into popular angst, and the Dems were blind. They still are. I doubt they will learn much from this.

After another 4 or less years with this convict the democrats will get a landslide victory over the republicans.

Nevertheless, most simple Americans see in Trump a new Saviour. But in reality he saves himself not being behind bars for some years.
