The Thai ETA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation)
Every country that I have been to that has a similar ETA system just asks you to certify that you have all the required documents to enter the country. It's just a bunch of check boxes--yes, I have accommodation, yes I have a return flight, yes I have money....You never have to upload any documents. I'm sure Thailand will be the same if they can ever implement the system. -

‘Thailand needs to change. Cheap tourists and backpackers are the only ones coming to Thailand. Thailand does not smile anymore. 5 star hotels offer discounts to compete with 3 star hotels. Entire main streets have their stores closed with garbage piling up in the small adjacent sois, resorts are surrounded by slums and street vendors selling Chinese junk. No more Thai artifacts to buy, no more souvenirs to buy. -

Northeast U.S. might want to join Canada because of Trump -- does Canada want them?
As an actual Canadian, I think it's a good idea, but doesn't go far enough. Canada should take the west coast, California is debatable. Also the east coast down to Virginia. Any farther south is a bit too inbred. The fly over states can remain. We'll give them Alberta, aka Canada's Tennessee. Lots of oil there. Sounds like a fair trade to me. -
