Tom Cruise is just a man like everyone else, and comes with a package. Tom Cruise package is possible Adhd and a member of the Church of Scientology.

Is it that simple? Men are unlucky? And not responsible for what happens in life?

I do not know why Tom Cruise failed, and wouldn't judge any part without any first hand knowledge.

It is like the whole world got to judge Amber heard and Johnny Depp interactions with each other live on TV.

Both came with a package and obviously poison for each other, still people take sides

No marriage begins with couple hating each other but many end that way. One wonders how it came to that, but it takes 2 to tango and when one refuses to try to get along it is doomed.

Mine started like a wet dream, but became distant, and refused to admit she had a problem. In the end it was so over even I had to give up on her.

At the end it was different bedrooms and I bolted my door as I thought she might try to knife me when I was asleep.

Do I miss her- yes but only the one from our first year. She changed to something I didn't even want to live with.

How long since your marriage ended?

without looking it up I'm guessing sometime in 2016. Long enough for it all to fade away. Don't know why I remember the bad bits more clearly than the good times and there really were good times at the start. I guess it's because it happens gradually, and the bad times were more recent. Anyway, it helps to remember the bad bits as remembering the good parts makes me sad. My only solace is that I think she was always going to destroy it as she was actually self destructive, being bi polar and an alcoholic, though she hid it well at the start, and I had no clue, though I wasn't looking  for the signs. In hindsight there were red flags everywhere, but love is blind.

Dear Fellow Men (Real Men),

Are women you meet just too flighty these days?

The reason I ask is because, I think that women these days have become much more flighty than they once were.

For example, we know that Eleanor Roosevelt was less flighty, back in the day.  And, I wish I could meet, these days, a girl like her.  But, girls like Eleanor just don’t exist anywhere, not in any quantity.

Some people ask me why I don’t have a GF.

The reason is because I am no longer able to tolerate the flightiness of girls as they have evolved.

Girls today have no respect for a man.

Men, Real Men, and men as they once were, would never have tolerated a flighty woman.

Yet, for some reason, men do, today.

I have just about given up on finding an un-flighty woman.

I am not talking about a GF, necessarily, but just any woman, for example a charwoman, or a bank-clerk woman.

Women these days have changed.

And I do not like their flightiness.

Therefore, what is to be done?

Can we just hire more men to do the job that women once did?

Are you enjoying this new world, one in which 55% of people you meet, those of the opposite sex, have become far more flighty during the past 2.5 decades…..?

Because, back in 1999, I recall that the women I met were sane and not flighty, unlike today.

Is it me, or is this a real thing?

Because, I KNOW this is real.

Best regards,

Gamma

Note:  These Days, I think this woman would be my ideal.  Because, far less flighty….

image.png.ac613de6e6568689e3eccb061b6a55cb.png

Note2:  I am thinking about COMPLETELY STOPPING with women, altogether.  Because, they just do not make women like they used to.

Note3:  My problem is that I actually LIKE women.  How could we do without them?  I just wish they were less flighty, is all that I am saying.

What are REAL MEN?

Ask Donald. He would tell you it has to do with rapes and pussy grabbing.

Do you want to belong to such a gang of garbage?

I find the same percentage of appealing and attractive women today as I ever have, maybe even more. On the other hand, I find men infinitely less appealing---and I'm talking as friends and acquaintances, as I'm 100% hetero and happy with my traditional pronouns.

The NYU Biz professor and entrepreneur Scott Galloway---who is a stat jockey---says that in the US in 2008, 8% of men reached age 30 as virgins, while today almost 33% reach age 30 as virgins. I think I understand why. They have no game, think being a 'man' is dominating women and 'keeping them in their place', are likely insecure, and think having 'game' is saying, "Yo, look at my Call of Duty score."

Guys on this site are forever disparaging women, Western women in particular, claiming they are money grubbing, not feminine, and all fat. Well, the expats I see in Thailand are hardly lookers, nor do many seem as if they had successful careers. Fat and tatted, thinking women owe them something, and with meager funds hardly screams 'a catch'. So the only option they have is pay for play, and even there the average agogo woman makes more money than the typical retired expat.

Women have done much better educationally and financially over the last decade, especially in the West and in Japan. They are looking for at least an equal, in terms of education and career success. It's getting more difficult for them to find someone who matches their own success.

For the men who are educated, fit, and financially successful, it's never been better. A larger pool of interesting women is chasing a smaller pool of equal or more accomplished men.

I don't know what flighty means, except maybe women who run screaming from guys who think they are owed something simply because they are male.

Guys who are not succeeding with women have only one person to blame: the guy in the bathroom mirror.

The hypocrisy is that if you did meet someone who looked like Eleanor Roosevelt, you wouldn't give her the time of day.

The hotties that would grab your attention can be as flighty as they want.  It will serve them in the immediate gratification realm, but not in the long term.  I wouldn't want my kids to Google their mom and find an OnlyFans page.  The Wayback machine is forever, and it's brutal.

My experinence is most flirty, flingy or filthy women I have met that made my attention, is going to be the same conservative woman you woldnt look twice at the beginning 😄

anyway, the whole point is to find a woman you can live with, not the ideal of her.

While I agree, winning the genetic lottery sure makes it easier.  In that respect, it's a lot like women.  The ones that were born with the right genes don't have to work nearly as hard (or be nearly as lucky).

First wife (20+ years) died after breast cancer; second wife (now 22 years). One a farang and #2 a Thai.  Both seem the same to me, as women are basically the same in my book.  They seem to want security, maybe a kid or two, and a husband who doesn't stray which in today's world could mean health problems for them.  It is a must that we talk and set our goals with each other and what we expect out of eavh other in the relationship.  I consider myself lucky in both marriages that those two ladies shared their wishes with me long before we got hitched together.  Each marriage resulted in a daughter, both of whom anyone would be proud to claim!  Blessed I have been for sure.

Yes.

Not only is your observation correct, but also profound.

I would want to meet someone with sense in their head.

Also, an emotionally stable and mature person.

This is almost impossible on Tinder.

Anyone on Tinder is, by definition, very unstable.

Nobody who is stable needs Tinder.

One presumes that stable people meet their mates while attending four years at the Ivy League, as did I.

I wouldn't have any idea. They don't talk except for mumbles when their mouths....well regardless they usually are only around for about 20 mins and they all say thank you as they put their 2000 baht cab fare in their knock off designer purses

Fascinating stats...

But what has changed since my days is that it is halfway to criminal if you like a lady, especially another employee and asking her out for coffee puts you on the road to harassment, if she is not interested. If you are the dreamboat guy, then it is ok, but for the other 98% - - how do you know?

I lost my virginity at a very early age.

And, now, I am just so thankful that I have found it.

My mother used to tell me that I would one day meet the 'perfect girl' As a naive young Penn Student, I thought that meant a 'perfect girl' -  I later figured out that what she really meant was that I might meet someone with interlocking neurosis.. And that was no going to be a Penn girl for me.

Why not just give the real reason? You'd still get plenty of replies.

I already stated the real reason.

But not, maybe, all the real reasons.

Why should I bore you with these?

My GF cooks for me, does the laundry and washing up, puts my socks on, trims my toenails.

if I am in hospital, she sleeps on the floor next to my bed to take care of me.

If she is flighty, I can't say I have noticed, or would care if I did.

Turkeys rarely fly high.

But, they are tasty, still.

Freshman year I lived in the quad, yes. But then I spent 3 years on the 3900 block of Delancey Street [if the number is correct. Right around the corner from Ronnie's Deli. I have lost my appetite lately but what I wouldn't do for a roast beef sub and a Frank's Black cherry wishniak... any of that familiar?

The most endearing moment with my wife was many years ago. Both my parents were suffering dementia but we knew my father's greatest desire was to never go in a nursing home. We had an excellent FT staff but there were daily crisis of extreme nature. Things like the bookkeeper running out of the house screaming and crying. And this went on for years. I was in Thailand, mostly. If I called in the morning, I knew my day would become a painful migraine. If I called at night, I had horrible nightmares.

My wife knew there was nothing she could do or say to help and she was wise enough not to try. On what was a terrible night for me, she came into my office and w/o a word, unrolled a mat and slept on the floor behind me.

I have no problem with flighty...

I have always told my wife that if she has had enough, just give me 24 hours to take my stuff out. I don't understand why anyone would want to live with another person who wants to be free [of them] ... but we never tried to chain each other, so that was never an issue.
