Renewing drivers license

I have a five-year license for a car motorcycle expires November 2025 my question is I may be out of the country during that time can I go ahead and apply to get a new drivers license even though I’ve 11 months left on the old one thank you

You cannot apply that early, I think it's only possible 3 months before expiry.  However, you can renew up to 1 year after it expires.  And whenever you renew it in that year you will get 5 years+ validity - it will run until your next birthday 5 years later so can actually get nearly 6 years if you time it right.
