It's important to keep in mind that these "privileges" are often intended to address systemic issues that have persisted for generations and are not simply a matter of individual choice or merit. The legacy of slavery and segregation in the United States has resulted in significant disparities in wealth, education, and health outcomes between Black and White Americans, which cannot be easily resolved without targeted interventions.

 

One could argue that the goal should be to create a society where such targeted "privileges" are no longer necessary, but that achieving this goal will require sustained efforts to dismantle systemic racism and ensure that all individuals have equal opportunities to succeed.

That's irrelevant , you stated that "I'm sure there must be some very fine people amongst them, on both sides." when referring to a White supremacist group .

It's even more diabolical than that.  They're assuming Blacks are incapable of succeeding on their own merit and by their own effort.

Like the Dems who claim that requiring ID is racist because Blacks don't know how to get ID.

Anyone truly interested should listen to Thomas Sowell as he rattles off reams of actual statistics that show how much damage has been done to the Black community by treating them as "incompetent" (for lack of a better word).  He is long winded and can be repetitive, but fascinating if you actually have an interest.
