Thailand to Provide Free Internet Sim Cards to Disabled and Poor

In a significant move to bridge the digital divide, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in partnership with the Department of the Promotion and Development of Quality of Life of the Disabled, announced today that they will be distributing 1.1 million SIM cards. This initiative is specifically targeted towards disabled individuals and those living in poverty, offering them free internet access for six months, starting from February.
