JoseThailand Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 What's the current situation with 90 day reports at Bangkok immigration? How big are the queues? What time should I arrive to be able to do this the same day?
DrJack54 Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Make an appointment. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/ I did one November with appointment. Works like clockwork
Upnotover Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 As above, make an appointment. In and out in minutes.

No offense but you should not need to be late. I was actually 30 mins early. The lady at the ticket counter (far right line) talks to immigration lady at the desk that does appointments (2 desks) I was seen instantly. BTW the joint was packed EDIT: You need to print out copy of your appointment. Just do a screenshot and then print. They no longer send confirmation email. The lady at the que desk will ask to see your booking hard copy and filled in TM47
problemfarang Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 there is no way to make appointments. all agencies are in contact with the 'place which is arranging online appointments'. if you follow the appointment website you can see that. here is my story about this: i created 4 emails to get an appointment. i started to follow the appointment system.. i check the website every 15 mins. (yes im serious) website allows you to get an appointment sometimes the month we are in and sometimes the month we are in and the next month. again please keep in mind that im checking the website every 15 min. including night time. so in my case i was trying to catch any day in september. i started to follow the website from 3rd week of july. and again keep in moind every 15 mins. no joke interestingly july and august were already full. now july.. yes i understand but when the august opened for the first time it was already almost full and there were only 5 or 6 days left. right after they opened august (5 or 6 days left) after 1 hour it was only 2 days left. and after 1.30 hrs.. non. 2 days later they opened august again and it was only 2 days but like only 10.30 and 11.00 and yep.. 10 min all gone. suddenly 1 day opened in september.. i think it was friday and 10:00 5 min later its gone. september ended... 1 week in august and its all full. suddenly 2nd week august opened again and it had 3 or 5 days. i dont remember the hours now but i believe it was like 4-5 free slot. suddenly in 2nd week september opened.. and LOL only 2 days free and same hours.. 11:00. now again let me remind you that i was following the schedule every day within 15 mins. so.. its a really surprising thing that september first time appear and only 2 days free.. and only 1 or 2 hours.. thats not possible. i used all my 4 emails to book them and i did. so booking is not about your passport number but the email. september opened again in 3rd week for only 1 day and 2 hrs. gone in 20min i went to immigration. i saw some teachers waiting with me at the online queue.. and all of the teacher groups had someone with them. so i approached one of them and i asked if she is an agency (i can speak fluent thai and esan so there is no misunderstanding.) and she said she works at the school and its her duty to help them. First i believed them.. but then few things started to happen. the lady i talked to.. saw another man who was doing exactly the same thing.. working at the school and his duty to help teachers with the visa.. started to talk each other and it was so obvious they know each other. then another guy.. and another.. so it came to a point that there is no way all of them can know each other. its so clear that they are from a company. then i talked to a teacher sitting next to me from that teacher group and i told him hes llucky that he has someone helping from the school.. ( iwas checking the info tbh) then he said ohh i dont know all of them are using different agencies... well it is all clear how the system works. so unless you are VERY VERY lucky you have no chance to get an appointment. thanks to agencies. 1

arick Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 After your appointment be sure that next time you can do it online get them to have it set up on their computer.

Perhaps they have changed again. I made back to back appointments for Nov 5. Most likely made the appointments couple of weeks prior. One for 90 report. One for extension retirement. No confirmation emails sent Edit: just read post from @klauskunkel . Seems you can request email. I just screenshot the booking slot.

Yes yes.. whatever.. by the way please notice that it says december is full... Ps: there are only 2 desks taking care online. So yes all online goes there

The thread is about 90 day reporting. My screenshot shows Dec 19-27 all days available Your post shows appointment page for "extension visa for teachers students....."
Will B Good Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 Do online as many suggest....if that doesn't work just do it by mail. Sent my last one in by mail on a Monday, got my slip back on Wednesday.
Thingamabob Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 November 19. I made my 90 day report and obtained an annual extension in person at CW. In at 0830 hrs, out at 1030 hrs. No appointment, no agent. Fast, friendly service, no hassle.

Of course appointments are the most convenient way to do it. I'm stuck going out there this next week because my online reporting was just rejected. A report from someone who has had to get in the queue would be nice.

If you are too busy you can skip it and pay 2k baht fine next time you have business with immigration. Example extension etc

If you arrive late, join the queue like everyone else. A person I know didn't have an appointment last month so spent all afternoon there waiting. When he got back home he was sick from some flu virus that lasted over two weeks that he attributed to the visit as he'd been home otherwise. So to answer your thread question "how bad is it now?", it was bad for him!

Based on recent first-hand reports here and on other social media sites point to roughly a 4 hour (average) wait, so you should plan on that. Plus there are three (two left) holidays this month. 1 1
