So you're asking me, perfectly healthy and sane, to explain why someone, possibly no sane, conducts an attack. Sorry, I can't help you with that.
But on the Wiki page provided earlier it does give an explanation about his thoughts.

So he was highlighting just how bad Islam is as an ex-muslim by providing a demonstration of what Islam does, which is to murder non-muslim people by driving explosive laden cars into Christmas markets?   This is the narrative we are going with now when a supposed "ex" muslim drives an explosive laden car into a Christmas market?  I guess it makes a change from "he was a choirboy  from Wales" at least.

Jumping to conclusions based on his name?

Here we go.

No, jumping to conclusions because it's a terrorist attack and the perpetrator hails from Saudi Arabia.

Why would someone critical of Islam conduct a terror attack on a market celebrating a Christian event? Why not attack a mosque or muslim gathering?

Do you believe the ridiculous story offered up as an excuse by this terrorist?

I do

It's called Taqqiya in the Muslim world.

No, he converted to Christianity when he came to Europe, we can't deport him as it's against his human rights, and he might be tortured..

That's a favourite Muslim excuse to ask for asylum, then wreak havoc in Western society.

Yes,

But if he was following this, it was to wreak havoc and mischief, not to conceal his beliefs because he thought he might be in ' peril ' it is deception to continue his craft of terrorism.

Actually, it was to conceal his beliefs, in order to wreak havoc and chaos.

Every single Infidel that has worked in the Muslim world has been subjected to Taqqiya, in some form or other.

I saw elsewhere on X that a Saudi girl living in Germany reported the man to the police in September 2023. He promised to kill random Germans. The problem is a Christmas market isn't random. It's a Christian centered event. Who knows what this guy is really all about? It doesn't even matter. It's clear he's a violent nutcase. So why import violence prone loonies into your country?

He's supposedly an anti-Islam activist. But his targets were Christians, not Muslims. It's not as if there is a shortage of Muslims in Germany or Europe. "Why" seems a perfectly good question to ask.

Nooo, sileee, he was angry with Germany for not being more accommodation with immigration. that is the story.

We'll let others on the board judge for themselves.

BTW, while I'm here, does excessive diving/compression cause brain damage? Reason I ask is that I talked to an old school friend who worked as a diver on N Sea oil rigs and he was completely doo laa.

That kind of diving is dangerous and potentially unhealthy. Recreational diving is not.

As far as I could tell from the photo of him on the ground had a beard. I think maybe those type of beard get itchy and drive the owner crazy. Pehaps we should coin the phrase "bad beard day" and this can be used as an explanation.

"According to some German news reports, the suspect was not known to authorities as an Islamist extremist, while social media and posts online appear to suggest he had been critical of Islam"

The BBC a trusted source ? What planet are you living on ? The driver is a Saudi doctor who drove into a crowd of Christmas shoppers killing at least 2 (some reports say 12) including a small child.

I take it you are being facetious or you haven't seen the extreme speed at which he was driving, nobody drives at that speed in a built up area.

Extreme speed you say, what was the km/h ?

I would advise you to consider yourself how the msm responds. With the welsh choirboy of course no info was allowed to be given because it would "prejudice his trial" so they covered up he had islamic terror manuals and ricin and pretended he was christian and falsely stressed he was not muslim(although in prison visits mosque daily)

With this German terror attack msm gives huge detail, stressing he is not muslim. Why so much detail? Was the reason why no details allowed in all past islamic terror attacks lies? I don't believe a word. IMO he was pretending to be something he wasnt, and look how it ended.

Cheers Angie, you trashed europe. RIP to the victims this death tally will sadly rise. Disgusted.

The usual B.S.

The Welsh choir boy was a minor. There's a law about it.

Judge for yourself. I admit we can't rule out if it has been speeded up but anyone who drives knows that is an extreme speed for a built up area.

Blair, and now Starmer did or doing the same thing to the UK. Not that any other party has actually seriously tried to curb UK immigration. All as bad as one another.

They are both the Globalist Party (two cheeks thereof, as the saying goes).

That just prevented them from revealing his name. In actuality, as he had a non Muslim name they made an exception and released it in the hope of calming anti Muslim sentiment, as when someone ran amok with a knife in the past, it has been Muslims.

Maybe you should get up to speed with actual facts before jumping to conclusions. The car was driven by a 50-year-old doctor who fled Saudi Arabia 20 years ago. The man is apparently strongly anti-islam and was worried about the ‘islamization’ of Germany.
