Who said they were taking over the USIS?......Musk?......Is that where the clash arose?

Follow the topic.  Some are insinuating they are.

They must truly believe Trump is the current president.

Yes, he is a high achiever and negotiating different issues but he’s not the POTUS  until January 20th.

This is the only reference I can find to Musk in the article posted.....

White House AI and crypto czar David Sacks came to Krishnan's defense, arguing he simply wants to remove country caps.

'Right now, every country in the world gets allocated the same number of green cards, no matter how many qualified applicants it has. So applicants from India have an 11 year wait whereas applicants from many other countries have no wait at all,' he said.

'Supporting a limited number of highly skilled immigrants is still a prevalent view on the right. Sriram is definitely not a ''career leftist''.'

Elon Musk responded to Sacks' comments, agreeing they 'make sense.'

So Musk wants to limit the numbers and Vivek wants to let rip....in essence??

Separately...why are they sticking their oars into immigration and the granting of these visas......???

They can’t grant visas.

It's not just these two. Other oligarchs like David Sacks and Peter Thiel are also campaigning for more Indian H1Bs. This is the payment they want for supporting Trump with donations and supporting statements.

Indians are NOT needed in the USA, now.

Too many of them.

Culture is garbage.

I want many more Chinese with PhDs.

Chinese are hard-workers.

Also, much more honest.

Remember that Indian who was guiding the scam and pulling the strings behind Elizabeth, on the blood analysis fiasco of a machine?

Better to give visas to Chinese.

He paroled them and processed them cash, phones, and work permits.

And that is just the problem with the liberals, they parole illegal immigrants so they can vote, but the US doesn't need these unskilled people.

The Indian visas Musk is talking about are predominantly skilled tech people from India

Maybe they're overwhelmed and don't have the information on Indian diploma mills.

USCIS received a total of 780,884 (approximately 781K) H1B Registrations for the FY 2024 season.

Total Eligible

Of the total 781K H1B registrations submitted, the total number of eligible registrations stood at 758,994 (approximately 757K). The difference of 21,890 (780,884 -758,994) between submitted vs. eligible registrations is accounted for the duplicate registrations, failed payments, and others deleted by employers before the close of the registration period.

And your point is?

Exactly.....not their remit, so why are they commenting on it?....especially if these Indians are not destined to work in the government.

Administrations must have a coherent message......in the UK it is called Cabinet responsibility....sign up or resign.

Things will unravel quickly if you have powerful figures going rogue..........don't you think?

The administration has to remain on message.

This is a USA issue.  Not the UK.

As a non USC, why are you so concerned over our H1B quotas?

The warning signs were there with the budget extension, where Elon and Vivek started crowing about how they used their influence to stop it. Trump looks like he is being dragged behind them on a leash.

So voicing opinions is now going rogue.

Well I suppose the leftists need something new every day to complain about since Trump is outperforming Biden in every category.

And he hasn’t been sworn in yet.  How sweet it is!

I think not.

Future Democrat voters and representation.

No other reason.

Because all immigrants are automatically Democrat supporters?  Just like Musk and Ramaswamy?

After reading your posts and the others all I can say is lefties are still losing it.

What will tomorrow bring that will have you all losing it?

Oh my...wrong time of the month for you?

I was interested in how things like this were playing out in US politics......... as it is quite alien in UK politics to have public disagreements on major policies.

Feel free not to respond and give us both a break.

As if that’s what happened under the Biden administration.

Was that your impression?

I'm not left. I'm not right. I oppose H1bs. If you want to bring in exceptional people, fine. But H1Bs are not exceptional. They're ordinary wage slaves who suppress native wages while increasing the demand on housing prices for American citizens. And I think Trump is going 180 on immigration and China. He doesn't need MAGA anymore. He'll never need any voters support again. Now, he can just cozy up to the Kings of Cash, the Tech Oligarchs.

Never followed Biden's administration particularly.........so you are saying he faced similar problems with senior figures going off script?

All ILLEGAL immigrants are.  Just like the ones Biden let in.  Especially the criminals.

The two you mentioned are LEGAL immigrants.  They happen to support Trump.  Their choice.

Now that is a frightening thought and one that ran through my mind.

The only hope is he wants to leave a glowing success and maybe a dynasty.....Baron? the other two are hopeless.

Why would I bail out?

You appear to be the one blowing a head gasket.

Feel free to bail out.  Good for your mental health.

Musk?

Reports have raised questions about Elon Musk’s U.S. citizenship. An investigation by The Washington Post suggests that Musk  worked in the U.S. without proper authorization. Legal experts indicate that if Musk misrepresented information during his immigration process, he could face denaturalization and potential criminal charges.

Oh dear!!

No.

Some rubbish about Farage being the UK's saviour as he is a bum-chum of Trump, but that's about it.

Rather ironic as his singlehandedly destroyed our relationship with the EU, which is estimated to have cost 27 billion a year in trade.....but what the hell....we have blue passports now and get to stand in long queues every time we cross the channel.

You missed one word that completely fixes your intentionally erroneous statement. ILLEGAL

lets try that again. Because all illegal immigrants are automatically Democrat supporters?  correct. Illegals want no laws that could semd thrm home, and as much free stuff as pos. Hence they love democrats.

Just like Musk and Ramaswamy? No. They are LEGAL
