I think you are mistaken about his base. Many Republican House and Senate members owe their seats to many of Trump's supporters. Perhaps you have forgotten what party will be in the majority. There are already some disagreements with Trump and there will be more. Trump may be arrogant, but he is no fool. He knows abandoning his base is dangerous and will compromise. I will be waiting to see. -

What a <deleted>show. Now more than ever I think max 179 days in TH is the best option. Second best is to just lay low and see how the situation develops. One thing to keep in mind is that Thailand was bullied into joining the CSR, it wasn’t their own aspiration. They dragged their heels for a long time but finally had to do it to prevent their banks being greylisted. Some countries just join these things in name only to get the Western nanny states of their back and never really properly implement them. Hopefully Thailand is one of them. -

Security at walking street wrecking havic
Last night I saw the security guards on walking street doing something similar as what happened in soi 6 last year. Two young white handsome guys got attacked by security, went down to the ground, about ten security guards kicking them, mostly in their heads. A bunch of people filming it, but the security threatened everyone who they suspected had been filming, and forced them to hand over their phones. Even I who, had been standing outside Tops had to unlock my phone and give it to them. They deleted all the videos on peoples phones. I have PTSD and I don't feel well at all being threatened to be killed for no reason. I wonder what happened with those guys who got their heads kicked in. I've been searching for a video but nothing so far. I wonder what the story was, and how can the security attack people not involved and demand their phones even they just at Tops? -

Are more and more mainland Chinese trading in China for a life in Northern Thailand?
They're setting up a little colony here in Mae Jo, I was told for Chinese only. Chinese still have "china town" in all the cities they were allowed to immigrate to, ever 100 years later. They have 2 projects around the lake you can see on the map but I bet they build more over the years. In fact I heard the rented the rights to lake as part of their project but have been gracious and open it to the public and put a nice path around it for the uni kids. They actually did more to improve the area then the Thais ever did so there's that at least...
