Tourists Detained After Vaping Mid-Air on Nok Air Flight
They might get a really hard punishment and fine, if the police wants to do it. and they should! not for the fact of vaping, but for the true disrespect and total disregard for others on the plane and in the boarding gate. Had they been super discrete, respectful and discrete, never get caught. the smoke detector on plane toilets can't detect most vapes unless it is blown directly on the sensor, most people take the hit and exhaust together with the vacuum of the flush. only dogs can smell anything in there. Very soon xrays will start picking up vapes on carry on luggage and I bet in a year or two, no more vapes allowed on flights! -

He lost the plot
Why bother putting up The Ten Commandments in schools? It's not like MAGA can read them. They don't even care when you read it to them. They'll accuse you of lying. 🤪 -

'Pizzagate’ gunman killed by police in North Carolina after traffic stop
A man who fired a gun inside a restaurant in the nation’s capital after a fake online conspiracy theory called “Pizzagate” motivated him to do so nearly a decade ago was shot and killed by North Carolina police during a weekend traffic stop. Edgar Maddison Welch was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by officers in Kannapolis on Saturday night, according to a Kannapolis Police Department news release. One of the officers recognized the car as the vehicle of someone he had arrested and who had an outstanding warrant for a felony probation violation – Welch, police said. When the officers approached the vehicle to arrest Welch, police said the man pulled out a handgun and pointed it at one of the officers. After he was instructed to drop the weapon but didn’t, two officers shot Welch, authorities said. https://lite.cnn.com/2025/01/09/politics/pizzagate-gunman-killed-police-shooting/index.html -

Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) between Thailand and Australia
For what it's worth, the word "pension" is used to describe monthly income generated by a super fund, but in many cases it's actually an "annuity." Therefore, using the word "pension" for these payments can be incorrect. -

Thai man arrested for hammer attack in Pathum Thani temple
Photo courtesy of KhaoSod By Puntid Tantivangphaisal A 41 year old man has been arrested by investigative police from the Thanyaburi district in Pathum Thani province for attacking a woman with a hammer at a temple. Anusorn, a resident of Loei province, was apprehended following an incident where he allegedly attacked a Burmese woman with a hammer in a temple bathroom. The assailant reportedly tied her hands and feet before robbing her and fleeing the scene. The incident occurred at Wat Sa Bua, Khlong 11, Bueng Nam Rak subdistrict, Thanyaburi district, Pathum Thani province. During questioning, Anusorn confessed to having committed a similar crime in Udon Thani province and had been released from prison six months before. After his release, he relocated to Pathum Thani in search of employment and found work in Nong Suea district. However, he soon lost his job and became homeless, resorting to sleeping in various temples. Anusorn claimed the motive for the robbery was to secure funds for renting accommodation and finding employment, denying any intention to purchase drugs as he insisted he was not a drug user. Following the crime, he sought refuge at a pavilion near the entrance of Wat Adisorn in Lam Luk Ka district, Pathum Thani, until his arrest, reported KhaoSod. Source: The Thaiger -- 2025-01-10 -

Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) between Thailand and Australia
The DTA does not cover this type of income. It is taxable in Thailand.
