They are going to have to forget the hostages. Wall the place off, nothing in nothing out, kill them while they all starve. That's harsh but they want to commit genocide against the Jews if they could so the answer has to be the same.

And most European governments offered unequivocal support to the International Criminal Court this week, after it requested arrest warrants for Israel’s prime minister and defense minister, along with leaders of Hamas.

They supported the rule of law .

A support of a Court case to uphold the law ISNT showing support for either side  .

Agreeing that there should be a trial to show the legality , isnt showing support for Hamas .

Unless you thought that a Court case was just there to attack Israel ?

So supporting Palestinian statehood is supporting the rule of law?

So, if Netanyahu visits a country that supports the rule of law, and that country turns him over to the ICC, that would OK, right?

Also, you may have missed this but Ireland, Spain, and Sweden now recognize Palestinian statehood.

The ICJ Court case was about allegations of genocide and Countries supported the allegations being tried by a Judge , a Court case to judge whether the allegations had any merit .

Of course Countries are going to support the rule of law being upheld .

It wasn't a Court case about palestinian statehood .

Ireland and Spain have always been hostile to Israel .

I believe that there will soon be big changes and the ICC and the ICJ , rogue people have got the prosecutors positions and I think they they will be removed soon

They may support the rule of law being upheld, but they could, if they so chose, have openly criticized the decision.  Their silence on that score is deafening.

After Israeli troops stood down when a cease-fire came into effect in the Gaza Strip, Hamas began sending thousands of its forces onto the streets to establish control.
The deployment—envisioned by the agreement that pauses the fighting while the combatants exchange hostages for prisoners—highlights how the U.S.-designated terrorist group remains the dominant power in the territory. Israel hasn’t been able to destroy the group or empower an alternative...
The open show of force after months of being pushed underground was a signal that aid groups and governments will need to cooperate with Hamas as reconstruction efforts get under way in the coming weeks—an outcome Israel has hoped to prevent.

Strange. So, Israel hasn't won that war?

The thing that I find incredibly alarming, and most disturbing about your post, is that you seem to be really pleased that a vile, murderous terrorist organisation, one that committed the most barbaric atrocities in modern history, is still in power in Gaza.

There was an early clue to your position, when you couldn’t bring yourself to call Hamas a terrorist organisation, but had to call it a “US designated terrorist group”  ……  quite sickening to be honest.

It ended up doing Israel a favour .

Israel wasn't found to be guilty of war crimes .

The only people to commit war crimes was Hamas .

The Court case benefited Israel as it showed the claims of genocide were false

So, Netanyahu and others are no longer under indictment for committing war crimes?

Wow! Aseannow.com is rife with mind readers. First, according to you, I seem to be really pleased etc. Then you quote me as opining that I called Hamas  a "US designated terrorist group." I guess that's more mind-reading Or maybe you just don't undestand what " " signifies about what comes between them.

No one said he was. But he is under indictment. And if he ventures into most countries in Western Europe, according to law, he should be remanded into the custody of the ICC. I'm sure you wouldn't support any signatory to the treaty authorizing the ICC refusing to remand Netanyahu and others into the ICC's custody.

No Western european Country is going to arrest Netanyahu and as I am from the UK, Europe doesn't tell us what to do .

Its unbelievably sickening that Israel are the victims of constant war crimes  , but its enemies are trying to get Israel on trial for war crimes .

You can keep trying, but it just aint going to happen .

Rogues at the ICC and ICJ need to be removed from office

Nothing so far. But what has Israel gained?

Stopped the bombs from the north and south

So far it has no realistic plan for Gaza.

Should just leave it as it is and let Hamas sort it out

It has tried in vain to recruit other countries to police the territory.

Let Hamas have Gaza , they can do what they want with it , as long as they don't break the ceasefire and fire rockets again

It's armed forces are exhausted and will continue to be tormented by an ongoing guerilla war. Is Israel better off than it was before Oct 7?

That's nothing compared to Palestinians going back to their piles of rubble which used to their villages and houses

Hamas caused 40 000 + deaths , destroyed many millions of peoples lives in Gaza, destroying their homes  , disrupting kids education and rendering them a lost generation with no schooling and no secure family homes .

Caused mass suffering and horrendous deaths for Gazians .

Wreaked havoc on Gaza and Lebanon .

Hamas leaders all died as a result as well as many others .

Horrendous atrocities and war crimes by Hamas .

Now they are back again .

Round 2 of the Gaza war coming soon
