Hi Everyone,

I submitted my 90-day TM 47 report for my retirement visa. It sent back a rejection notice saying that as a "first time"

user I have to come into the immigration office in person. I don't know why they rejected me, but I can only figure out

that I left and returned to Thailand in October (before renewing my visa in November).

Since I now have to go into immigration. can I send a friend or representative on my behalf?

Also, once I sort this out, can I use the online system gain (as I have done for years) for subsequent 90-day reports?

That is why they rejected you. It's a relatively new rule (I think from around Feb 2024).

Yes.

Your issue stems from trip abroad.

Unrelated: I have been bemoaning online reporting (CW) in numerous threads.

So last Nov 5 I did a 90 report in person.

Have not exited Thailand since.

My window (2 weeks prior to due date) opened Tuesday.

I made online report.

Fully expecting rejection.

I now received approval.

Geez if they can ever get online to work we could have a credible option.

Currently need in person after trip abroad is not workable.
