If cared enough about anyone's opinion of my statement, I could spend a few hours arguing with chat GPT and getting them to admit anything I want

No doubt you could but that's not what I did. The excerpt I posted was a simple search on Google. "Is homosexuality a mental illness?" If you do the same you will get that AI overview which lists extracts from articles that you can read by scrolling down.

Gay marriage + gay bed scenes almost in every Thai movie = demographic disaster + welcome reception in immigration offices for farangs.

About 10 years ago, all expats felt that it was getting harder and harder to get a farang visa. This has been going on for 10 years now. I am sure that the growing demographic problems due to gay marriage will eventually lead to the hardliners backing down and we will finally get visas as easily as in the good old days.

Or I am being too optimistic?

Using the photo test, the one on the right pitches and the one on the left catches.  Did I get it right?

You know nothing of my qualifications as to anything. And proofs as to what? Are you contending their is not statistical correlation between homosexuality and mental illness?  I dont quite understand the rest of what you are saying.

Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra hailed the occasion, stating that all love will now be honoured by law in Thailand.

Apart from the one between a Thai woman and a foreigner.
