trump hired many of those fired. What he is doing is replacing appointees with those who will swear loyalty to him. A component of his overall attempt to be "king". trump has taken the first steps to destroy democracy in the USA and government institutions. It's very sad to see US citizens applauding these efforts.

Why would he want treasonous snakes like Milley that went behind his back to conspire with Xi? Do you have any idea how stupid and dangerous that was? Xi isnt his bestie, he will have thought Milley and team woke utter morons.

Strength and logic is back(clearly not in Oz mind). And Thank Goodness

We all know that Trump only hires the best people, and he is an expert finding the best people.

That is so he can be seen as a strong man when he subsequently fires them!

Has Milley been charged with treason? NO. Trump wasn't in power when Milley look the action he did, he was endeavouring to ensure their was no misunderstanding between the US and PRC based on trump's unauthorised communication. So far as I know until the president elect is confirmed on Jan 20th he is actually acting unlawfully by trying to influence a foreign power The actions by trump in communication with PRC were treasonous and spiteful regards Milley.

I think there is a mandatory 30 days notice to Congress required for this. And in that notice 'cause' must be mentioned. Firing st will as seems to be the case here is most likely not allowed.

Announce the firing, notify congress, keep them on payroll for thirty days.

Trusting the Washington Establishment

was a learning process the first time around!

Trump fires many Inspector Generals but keeps Horowitz.

https://nypost.com/2025/01/25/us-news/trump-fires-12-inspectors-general-from-major-government-agencies/

story based on a NYP/ Reuters report

Apparently many of them were his appointments from his first attempt at being presidential.

I do not understand this thread, and I am sure the press is lying, Trump didn't hire those people! We all know that Trump only hires the best people, and he is an expert finding the best people.

Good point well made.

And someone also pointed out that when he pardoned the J6 rioters he was actually pardoning Antifa, CIA, FBI and other ne’er-do-wells of the extreme left.

Which programs had the most payment errors?

“About $186 billion (79%) of such errors were concentrated in five program areas: Medicare, Medicaid, Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, the Earned Income Tax Credit, and Paycheck Protection Program Loan forgiveness”.
same source from above

So much tax revenue abused! The USA Govt

is like a criminal organization with a license to steal.

Especially firing by email which is a very low act.
