What did you have for breakfast?
I love fresh yogurt mixed with cereal and whatnot. Or a bowl of fresh yogurt with slices ripe strawberries and brown sugar. I loved breakfasts in India. -

Are AN forums addictive?
It’s a very useful, valuable and helpful forum, for advice; support ; guidance; sometimes educational : It’s nice to be able to consult others who may have had previous experience in an area that you are about to encounter. Especially in a Country like Thailand where things change overnight and regulations and laws are not enforced; or there may be different practices in different regions/ districts. Some people are helpful and positive, others can be funny, while some can be rude, offensive. Many whinge a lot, which is why I tend to avoid Ex Pats forums. I found the same in the Middle East. People choose to migrate then spend the rest of their life whingeing about the locals. They all seem to believe that the West is superior, a Colonial mentality, since the accurate history is not taught in the the West. Interesting however to have just read from Medical research that Social Media (and Forums) is the major source of “ Irritability “ in Older People. So best to keep tuned and try to be helpful when you can is my motto, but take some stuff with a pinch of salt! But full credit to the hard- working and thoughtful people who have set this up and operate it. Regularly monitoring and improving such a free and valuable service, IMHO. -

Thai tax tangle: Expats warned of new rules on overseas income
The determination whether a tax return is required is based on assessable income. You have already had pointed out to you that Thailand has in the past treated tax exempt income (that is not listed in the Thai tax return form exemption list) as income that is to be considered not assessable. Such exempt income is exempt in Thai tax calculations. This is the case for income covered under por.161/162 as exempt taxation, per Royal Decree-18 (and relevant DTA sections) and Royal Decree-743 (LTR decree). Hence such tax exempt income, being not assessble, is not to be included in the 60/120/220 calculation you reference. All you are doing is scaremongering those who don't know better and spreading incorrect information. You really should stop doing that.
