Yesterday, my notebook warned me about some importabt updates on Windows 11.
But on the update screen, an exclamation sign appeared and warned me to buy a new version of Windows 11 as my version reached the "end of updates.".
I went to the Microsoft site, and the end of updates was after 2 years of installation.

So, I would need to reinstall Windows 11 and all the software again OR wipe Windows completely from ho hard disk and install Linux (which was already my plan long ago).
I can keep Windows on an USB drive with the programs I might occasionaly and are not available on Linux.
What would your option be?

Just update Windows 11 as normal if it's licenced. No need to buy anything. You are on version 22H2. You need to update to 23H2 or 24H2.

It's an update via the Windows Update Manager.  It should self install.  If not, go to Update Manager and look for the update to the most current release and manually kick it off.

But it supports update to newer version as others described and millions of user do routinely.

Otherwise the world would have heard of.

Why it won't on your system?

Is your license or installation method "different".

Had a proper license?

Used any workarounds to install on a non compliant PC?

There are endless tips on update problems.

Don't know what applies to you.

Have you tried this:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/troubleshoot-problems-updating-windows-188c2b0f-10a7-d72f-65b8-32d177eb136c

(what a joke that not even links to Microsoft work😖)

There are a lot of users with the same problem all over Microsoft and Google.

My notebook was supported and I had a legal version of windows 11.

But from version 22H2 up, the system is not supported anymore and thus can not get upgrades.

Buy a new notebook or forget the upgrades.

Google and Microsoft are full of users with the same problem.

My system was supported by Windows 11 and I was running a legal version of windows 11.

But from version 22H2 up, the hardware is not supported anymore.

Read my post again and then take steps to install 23H2 or 24H2. Do I have to tell you again? 😊

Screenshot the page where your Windows 11 installation tells you that your hardware is incompatible. I don't think that you can. I believe that comes from you and not your installation. Stop creating a scenario in your head that doesn't exist in reality. Update to 23H2 or 24H2 and stop wasting everyone's time. 😊

Show us that message on your PC, that confirms your hardware is no longer supported. I don't mean some webpage, I mean an actual message from your Windows installation.

Screenshot that message and post it here. I'm sure that it doesn't state what you try to assert. What was the point of posting something that was simply untrue in the first place?

You are a pathetic man.
The first thing that Microsoft recommends when anyone is getting an "End of Service (WAAS)" is to downlaod the PC Health Check program and run it.
Pathetic to hace a discussion with you.

Here it is, pathetic guy.
I was able to get security update, but not the update to the new version as this is blocked by the "WAAS or End of Service".
You are a PATHETIC LOSER.
