A 20% increase in deportations doesn't mean 80% of arrivals haven't been deported. Lol. It means a 20% increase in the number of deportations above what the Tory party were managing. Clearly with the legacy of the Tories system of trying to gather them up and transport them to Rwanda, it's going to take time to get this done. I'm sure that if they implemented your hate filled and inhumane system of turning guns on them it would be quicker. 

 

Incidentally, before Brexit we had the right to return any immigrants that arrived from an EU country back to that country for processing.  That has now gone.

Perhaps I should explain my position more fully, as I probably came across more harsh than I really am.

 

I support genuine refugees fleeing war and persecution- such as women and children, but a genuine refugee does not dictate which country they get refuge in. Britain is not the first country they can get safe refuge in. By all means stay in the first safe country and apply for asylum in the country of choice. If approved then move to that country. Arriving on a dingy should be verboten.

Any young man of military age is not a genuine refugee IMO. They should stay and fight for their own country. PERIOD.

Seems just conjecture.  Could have been Trump giving Putin dire warnings of extreme military action should he do this or that.  I've no idea.  Or telling Putin a bunch of the most brutal racist and sexist jokes in the history of the universe, or other brutal jokes like, "have you heard about the guy who became president after being convicted of a felony", or "have you heard about the guy who became president who got the highest ever score on the dementia scale"?
