Trump just made an idiot move
I think it's idiotic to open threads like this, to get all the Trump haters excited, as though they need any help. Anyway, for the mentally challenged among us, all presidents have advisors. Biden had handlers. Presidents don't work in a vacuum, and for sure, they have smarter advisors than the likes of you. -

Triple pricing for BTS/MRT from September
OK, so your OP tells us what we already know. Thais will by 20 flat fee, and other, post fee, and at present, up to 62 baht as max fair. For MRT, max at 45 baht. Now go to the bar and pay 100 baht for a small beer. Dual pricing exist worldwide, get over yourself. -

SIM card and Bank.
We all know this. And those of us who use NI (natural intelligence) also know that the regulator agreed to this merger under the condition that DTAC is treated as a separate entity for 3 years. That's what I tried to say. What will happen after those 3 years, is not public knowledge. Ask Mr Brekke. -

Legal issues with electric bikes/scooters
I think the law is a little vague on smaller e-bikes. For electric bikes that have a top speed over 45 KPH and over 250 kw it's clearer ..... they need to be taxed and licensed and you need a motorcycle licence. Under this limit is where it's not so clear. When I bought my small e-scooter (E-M5) from HomePro a few years ago, they said as it's low powered and has pedals, it does not need licensing, but they also said a new law is on the way .... but it didn't happen. My bike seems to be limited to 30KPH, as even downhill it will not exceed 30, but can maintain 30KPH two-up on the flat. I don't think my e-bike could be properly licensed anyway, as it has no dip beam for the headlight, and no brake light. I use my proper motorcycle for anything involving major roads, but for local trips to 7-11 etc it's ideal, and the police have never shown an interest. -

My avocados are getting lost in translation
Back to the drawing board! I have been trying out the Thai suggestions here when ordering avocados online with acceptable results. They've never come all firm but generally some firm, some must eat today, and in one case a rotten one. I generally order in packs so one rotten one in a pack is not something I'm going to say anything about. But today ordered a pack of four Haas (which are now in season). Three were rotten, one was ripe today. So the first time ever I refused the order and got it taken off the bill. Too bad I couldn't have kept the one ripe one but I'm sure their computer system couldn't have handled that. I did make a point to show the guy what was rotten and what was OK by asking him to actually feel them. If he does the picking, maybe that will help. It's really the store's fault more than the pickers for allowing rotten fruit to stay on display but with avocados they generally do. So I'm abandoning the Thai language experiment. I was having better luck with just putting: Firm (unripe) avocados If they just don't bring any, I have no way of knowing if it's because they're confused by my instruction or there really aren't any firm ones to sell! Oh well.
