You are correct, I did mention MAGA, but I did not say in any way that I want Trump in the UK or anyone like him. I cannot see how you made that assertion. The closest I can get is inferring that some of the things that Trump is doing might be good to put in place in the UK.
The UK had a Trump-like figure before, he is called Boris Johnson. He was a disaster for the UK, helping to drive levels of corruption to new peaks, bringing confidence in UK politics to historic lows, driving thousands of our skilled workforce out of the country and other criminality within his Government (and himself) being thought to be acceptable. His behaviour and lack of respect for the law will have shown many people that breaking the law is ok. I don't ever want to see his likes again.
I'm happy that Trump is doing some of things he's doing, and I'm happy to see how it plays out from afar. I'm not happy about how Trump is doing some stuff, e.g. politicising the deaths of all those souls in the Potomac before they have been recovered (although I think he has a point on DEI - funding for that in the FAA takes away funding for other more important things, like the systems and people that could have meant that those 67 people could be with their families as of today.)
