For lovers of the Haco P001 and P002 plugs. Simple DIY replacement!

The now defunct Haco P001 and P002 plugs allowed the cables to hang vertically down the wall, great for those spaces behind furniture.

Sadly, Haco stopped making them as they don't comply with the latest TIS 166-2549 standard, and, despite them promising a replacement, none has appeared.

Just to remind you: -

I've been on the lookout for a replacement for a while and these popped onto my radar: -

Of course, they don't work properly with double outlets, wrong angle and you cannot fit two: -

However, a 5-minute modification using a small saw and needle file allows you to do this: -

Once you have the beast apart just saw/file two new alignment slots and the job is done: -

Easy-peasy 🙂
