Yeah the Trump honeymoon is already over, probably the shortest one in modern history. His ratings are now under water. More and more people (other than the 30 percent hard core maga fascist cult members) are realizing it was all a BAIT and SWITCH. The behaviour of Musk -- government by the billionaires for the billionaires, illegally stealing data of so many Americans (data is money to companies like X) is starting to sink in and totally freak people out and not only democrats. For the cult, it will probably be a matter of waiting for the leopard to eat their face.

I read a survey that indicated that republicans don't mind at all if Trump acts as king and makes the USA a dictatorship as long as he's on their side. Disgusting!

The link I posted with the girls gathered round Trump - the number of times I have seen Dems bewailing giving Trump that victory is astonishing. The best line I saw was -

Well, today I've had replies from Maga supporters claiming that they don't care if Trump violates the constitution. One of them claimed that defying a judge's order is a legitimate means of challenging it. They also mostly support whatever it is Trump does even if it's a massive reversal. Basically, they adore brute power when it's exercised by  a strongman. They claim that American is threatened by Marxism even though the American economy outpaces almost all others in the past few years. I can't recall reading any post from Trump supporters that disagree with these claims. (except for CallumWK. I may not agree with his principles but at least he does call out Trump when he sees Trump has abandoned them.).

 

All these elements: indifference to the rule of law, adoration of a strongman, and targeting nonexistent enemies or minorities as a threat to the majority, sound to me a lot like fascism.

Fascism is where you kill millions of people who disagree with you. The Democrats have gone mad. They could have won in 2016 with a better candidate and policies. Attacking Trump proves "you got nothing". He won because the Democrats have lost all sense of reality.
