Elon's Son Really Knows How to Pick Winners!
Up at the top of the page you'll see your screen name. Click on it and a menu drops down. At the bottom you will see "Sign Out". There's a safe space for gentle snowflakes like you behind that menu choice. Not sure if they offer woolly blankets and coloring books, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. -

"Nomad Capitalist" suggests Americans abroad may be headed towards pariah status
You know, like Russians abroad are suffering now, whether they have any culpability for the behavior of their nation's dictator or not. He suggests taking action to minimize the potential damage of that. In the Russian example, Russians who got a second passport BEFORE 2022 are sitting pretty. Most other Russians who have or want to flee Russia after that are struggling. -

Recently sold house in UK
Non tax resident so you have till the end of 2025 to sort things out, if not going until 9th July. You could also create some savings account pots (ideally with the interest mandated to a different account). That should not be subject to tax on sending to Thailand in later years, if you keep the paper trail. Trust you are keeping UK accounts open as far as possible. Non-Resident Sterling FCD account could be useful perhaps to SWIFT into. If you think the GBP THB rate may become slightly improved. I've not been to Phetch for about 22 years! -

What are your experiences with the new tax laws?????
You quoted rightly The resident tax payer. In where does this statement mention or concern non tax residents? You're interpreting, as some others, that statement applies regardless of the tax residence status in the later years. But why? It is always mentioned "tax resident" or "resident (meaning tax resident)" in any official written statement I can find. I'm no lawyer but, until amended, the tax law still says: "Taxpayers are classified into “resident” and “non-resident”. “Resident” means any person residing in Thailand for a period or periods aggregating more than 180 days in any tax (calendar) year. A resident of Thailand is liable to pay tax on income from sources in Thailand as well as on the portion of income from foreign sources that is brought into Thailand. A non-resident is, however, subject to tax only on income from sources in Thailand." https://www.rd.go.th/english/6045.html -
