Well, Simai, firstly thanks for a cogent post, which I will now respond to in detail: 1) Zelensky presenting a document with 25 times the Russians were naughty is a bit like North Korea presenting a list of 25 grievances against South Korea. You have to consider the source. Can we believe everything Zelensky says? Obviously not. If you look at the LONG history of agreements between Russia and Ukraine you will see that it was in fact Ukraine who started not abiding by agreements made, which in turn led Russia to do likewise. 2) Indeed, as we saw Zelensky is HIGHLY argumentative, and blinded by hatred of Russia, so there can be little progres with him at the helm. No doubt his performance in the Oval Office will hasten his departure, a total fail if ever there was one. 3) Zelensky is indeed saying there should be NO discussion with Russia, only with him. Which frankly is moronic. Even Churchill said Jaw-Jaw is preferable to war-war, and Zelensky would do well to study this statement. 4) Russia's "aggressive actions" were preceded by Ukraine making clear it was about to switch alliances, and wanting to join NATO. Just as the USA had the right to invade Panama to protect its security sphere so Russia has the right to invade Ukraine to protect the Russia security sphere. Russia and the Ukraine were allies, the fact that this war happened is in part largely to actions by Ukraine (and indeed the West). 5) Trump is not "capitulating", he is wisely trying secure peace to avoid women, children and soldiers being killed for no reason other than the chest thumping vanity of some. Those of us who are citizens of the world should be very thankful to Mr Trump for doing his utmost to avoid what Britain almost unwittingly precipitated, World War 3 due to misleading Ukraine.
