Perfect Dentist!

Featured Replies

I've found my perfect dentist today :D:D:D

Since months I knew I had to go a dentist, but being a little coward I always said to myself:"Next month...........".

Main problem was my lower teeth(front), faulty and ugly.

But next week on Tuesday I have to make a big presentation for some customers and I decided yesterday to go to a dentist which has been

recommended to me from a friend.

So I went yesterday for a visit and explained him my situation.

He checked lower and upper teeth and made a plastic impression. Next appointment today at noon :o

Having his own lab he made last night my denture for my lower teeth and spoke to his Thai dentist about the procedure.

With a "funny feeling" I left my house this morning at 11:30.

After getting some injections he pulled out 5 teeth(lower) and cleared some faulty roots.

For my great surprise without any pain at all!!!!!

After 3 minutes he put my new teeth in: Perfect and looks very good :bah:

Next week he'll gonna make my upper teeth and I am looking forward to this appointment without any scary feelings.

He is German, speeks fluent English and Thai(read and write).

His clinic is at the Chalong circle just 100 on the right side when heading to Rawai:Chanong Dental Clinic.

Now the most surprising(for me) point, the cost: 10900.-Baht for everyting, upper and lower!

On top of this he is a very funny and nice bloke :D

If interested pm me for his mobile number.

A very happy

Gerd

Hello Gerd,

good to hear you find the perfect dentist on Phuket, because at the moment I am getting root canal treatments at the Phuket International Hospital, after they find out, that my problem is a root-abszess. The doctor (specialist lady come from BKK for the treatment), will try to stop the infection in this way, but also told me, that it would´nt be easy and if not sucessfull she could try to remove one of the 3 roots completely, what she could do only in BKK or remove the tooth, shure possible on Phuket too.

The root canal treatment started yesterday, and lasted 75 min. without any pain - now the tooth have a new, temporary crown (before gold-crown), I still have no or only minimal pain (only if I touch the jaw through the cheek) because I think the treatment was very deep an almost in the jaw. I not take any tabletts - so at the moment I feel happy like you, but have to think what have to do, if the treatment is not sucessfull. The next appointment is next saturday - hope have no problems with the tooth before because of the BBQ on friday.

I don´t know how much the doctor will get for the treatment, because fortunatelly I have a travel-health-insurance for 3 month and after some discussions and contact my lawyer, the agreed to pay for the treatment directly.

But now I am shure have to find a good international health insurance, but I am not shure which company (AIA, Alliance, BuPa....) - do you have a health-insurance for Thailand or international which you can commend to me ?

I am not shure it´s better to try to remove the root or the whole tooth an set an implant. Do you know, if your German dentist can remove roots and set implants on Phuket ?

By the way - "Gerd" you come from Germany like your dentist and me ?

Could you give me the phone-no from you dentist (PM) for I can contact him myself ?

Cu on friday (?),
