That's my reading of Starmer's statements. He cannot say openly that he distrusts Trump, that would be amateurish to the extreme. At the same time, he knows how to let people understand where he stands when he said (somewhere, I cannot remember where) that "He cannot accept that the US are an unreliable ally". What this really means is that, he thinks/he knows/he understands that the US are now an unreliable ally, and he finds that new reality difficult to accept. It's a typical British understatement, very subtle and diplomatic.

Forcing UA to give up 20% of their land, robbed by Russia?

 

Ukraine certainly won't accept it.

 

Even if they gave it up to Rus, they will just use it as the front line  base , for their Future Invasion.

Check your facts as you may be the one crawling. EU has provided 60% of the funding so far with more new funding to come. Show a link to your claims that the EU has to get approval from USA first on new funding. 

 

Z never said he wouldn't enter into a deal on minerals but he isnt giving 50% and he wasnt going to sign an open agreement with no details. He said it in the press conference and then the a$$wipes trump and vance exploded like a 2 year throwing a temper tantrum.

Zelensky wants all land that has been annexed by Russia , since the 2022 invasion , to be returned to Ukraine and also the return of Crimea . To date 20% of Ukraine is under Russian control . Zelensky wants the Ukraine borders to be restored to those of the pre 2014 year . The U.S.A. will not support this . Zelensky wants Putin to be tried for war crimes . 

The mineral deal will be signed by Zelensky if Trump agrees to have the USA border security .Trump says no way .

 

So Trump promised to end the war in 1 day . How naive ? Trump decided to pick on the weakest link , hoping Zelensky  would collapse and comply to Trumps wishes . This tactic has failed and has left Trump in a defeatist mode and is now in the making of U.S .A. global  isolation . Europe must go it alone .

Starmers invitation letter to Trump from king Charles for a state visit ,was made purely to encourage trade deals and not apply tariffs to UK imports  and Trump will know that . It was a finger down the throat job . Real cringe moment . Amateurish .
