Out with this idiotOnly Toblerone or Lindt is worth to mention if it comes to Switzerland

We also have great weapons of mass destruction. The original Swiss Army Knive, including a toothpick and a corkscrew😜

Matthias, stop walking the dogs on the beach; or have your annual visa revoked. Then you will have 7 days to sell everything you have before you leave the country. What will you do with the dogs when you are kicked out of the country? The choice is simple. Stubbornness combined with "Don't you know who I am?" is a poor option to choose.

well said👍

Agree,  now what do you think about the Thais who allow pitbulls ECT to cause serious injury and death.

Any thoughts on that.?

Let them play with the dogs in a closed room.

Throw him out now and send him back to Switzerland, not wanted here with that attitude

Send his dog with him at his expense as well and see what will happen if his dog bites somebody there. Also ban him for life from Thailand.

Send the arrogant yodel er a d his cow bells back to the freezing mountains of his home country, he's been warned but continues his anti social behaviour.

Otherwise invest in some XLs or Pitbulls to chase his <deleted> muts off the beach for good.

Toblerone isn't Swiss anymore:
In 2023, the characteristic Matterhorn logo had to be changed. By moving production to Slovakia, Toblerone had lost the "Swissness" quality seal established by law in 2016, which prohibits references to Swiss national symbols on packaging.

Maybe. But when I met Gessler at the Rigi it was Swiss chocolate

Get a grip. People torment. animals and a dog will respond when  tormented.  I would give my dog priority over you. Yes, I would. It is more loyal, a better friend and more reliable. I owe you nothing, except for respect for your personal space and legal rights. ANything else is an imposition.

Defenceless children my arse. Many of these kids taunt and tease injured and elderly animals and then people like you come along and  proclaim the little  sociopaths as innocents.

The dogs would be put down in any sane society, at best they are stinking pests, these are potential killers

Good...   This has being going on long enough.

Where I'm not usually of the "hangem high deport em" brigade - in this case he's proven that he just does not want to be a 'sociable' part of the society within which he lives.....

The dogs should be forcibly removed....   and yes, as he's not followed up after numerous warnings and regulations he's in breach of the law and should be charged accordingly - if that impacts his visa status (from a legal perspective) so be it - he's proven that he doesn't deserve to be around well meaning nice people...

Well know for cats to maul and kill people. You may not like cats, so move. They're no threat.

The virus is present in the saliva of rabid cats, and people have developed rabies after being bitten by a rabid cat.

Time for "Village Justice" to the vicious dogs.

I'm quite surprised this 'village justice' has not already been carried out !!

The tough guy, black belt Karate, ex SAS, keyboard warrior in me suggests they should have been taken out already....

Would a 22 Round kill them with a headshot ?? -  its easy enough to hit a bottle top at 50 meters with one of those (with a decent scope)....  though obvious legal reasons prevent this...

Just the usual warfarin in a load of meet left on the beach near where the dogs go - painful horrible death I know...   But...  when needs  must....   yes.. every nasty and I don't think I'd have the stomach for that...  but I'm surprised others have not taken that route given the news of such occurring else where not irregularly.

Well said.

IF you (Patong2021) allow your dogs to run free (off leash) on beaches where children play etc... then you are not deserving of any respect that you might otherwise expect to come your way.

Wouldn't it be the job of the police to ensure these orders are followed? Issue fines and collecting them, temporary detention, dispossession of his dogs to a shelter. Why it has become such a drama now. Reaching until immigration is involved....

Obvious answer there really...

... there's nothing in it for the police to get involved....

The only time something like this happens is when social media sufficiently snowballs to cause loss of face...    then the BiB will argue nothing they can do, the dogs haven't attacked anyone yet (lazy policing) and as its a foreigner, they just force the hand of the local immigration officers to deal with it....

Par for the course - and really, this is why so many 'local issues' seemingly go from Zero to Incendiary in an instant - there is usually a back story thats been ignored for some time.

On March 8, district chief Suthin Prasertsak took decisive action, instructing his deputy, Nattapong Krainara, to organise a meeting at the Pong Prasasat subdistrict administrative office.

A meeting doesn't sound decisive to me. I know Thais don't like to put down any animals but make an exception. The swiss guy has to learn.

Though the incidents are minor offences legally, the repeated nature of the attacks amplifies their gravity, pressing the need for administrative prosecution.

No prosecution required, you just haul his obstinate arse into the administrative office, accompanied by police and immigration. You then sit him down and inform him, your dogs are banned on the beach, if take your dogs on the beach one more time or, one more attack incident in any location you will be leaving the country.. banned for 10 years.

It's not the dog....it's that arrogant friggin owner.

Throw him out....he is just the type of person who shows utter contempt for others along with a you can't touch me attitude.

Idiot

Oh! It wasn't the vermin dogs that attacked people, then - it was the Swiss Guy, right?

Here we are folks, with the standard aggressive vermin dog apologist!

Every post relating to this kind of subject always contains one such drivel post.

Since you live in phuket, you should take your problems out on russians. They are the ones making your life there harder, if you are white

Hi, thank you for your reply post.

Those useless violent vermin that can do nothing but to harm others, certainly deserve execution in the middle of the night.

The reason why it is yet to carried out, may be because that "issue" was already publicly addressed.

If it didn't take place, must have been a lot easier for them to do it.

When dogs go missing, or found dead by unnatural causes, Thai public often start to condemn the one responsible for that. Even if those animals are quite harmful to the community.

There are always 2 mixed(contradicting)  responses when dog attack cases reported here.

Resentment, and do-gooder sympathy to those useless beasts.

Angry about them, but strong hesitation to put them down at the same time.

In recent months, I have heard about some gruesome case at the temple in this kingdom.

One vicious dog brutally killed its owner(priest).

Still, there was someone who was more than willing to take over that murderer beast, to keep it alive.

I, personally carry a gadget for self-defense against possible dog attacks.

Since my settlement nearly 2 decades ago, I met countless attempted dog attacks.

So I started to take matters into my own hands.

I first carried firecrackers (and a lighter). Their deafening Bang usually scared them away. But some, defied it.

Then switched to the homemade teargas spray(with the range of up to 10 yards).

Loaded with the mixture of vinegar, chili, and pepper(filtered before charging into its tank, so it won't cause jam).

And it works perfectly well. Busted incoming attacking dogs over 150 times; repelled over 260 in total.

Vinegar, pepper, and chili: Their 3 worst hates; they cannot stand for that.

Dogs' sense of smell, 50000 times better than mankind.

So as its impact on them...
