You can spew your hatred in the US until you're blue in the face.  It's Protected Speech under the First Amendment - as long as it doesn't cross over into violence, discrimination, or harassment. Arguing that it MAY cross over to violence, discrimination, or harassment doesn't make that speech a crime.

Well, some will argue, "Jewish students will feel threatened."

Well, I'll argue, if people are out on the streets spewing hatred toward Russians, Chinese, Canadians, Catholics, gays, or straights, they'd feel threatened too.  So - do we dismantle the First Amendment to make it a crime to say mean things?  The answer, up to this point, is "No."

"Activities" meaning protesting, meaning exercising freedom of speech. Unless "activities"are breaking US law. If a foreigner isn't breaking a law, foreigners on green cards can protest anything and everything and still be protected just as are US citizens. It becomes a real slippery slope claiming that a foreign student's speech is "antisemitism" and then claim that is a crime and cause for the deportation of the student.  Because at this time, it is not a crime.

So again.

The First Amendment protects free speech for everyone physically present in the U.S., not just citizens and SCOTUS precedents supports this:
Bridges v. Wixon (1945) established that resident aliens enjoy First Amendment rights, stating that "freedom of speech and of press is accorded aliens residing in this country."

United States v. Verdugo-Urquidez (1990) clarified that constitutional protections, including the First Amendment, apply to non-citizens within U.S. borders, though the scope can differ based on context (e.g., immigration proceedings vs. criminal law).

 

This case will lead to a legal battle and my guess is that it will end up in front of the Supreme Court.

for a visa and tell us that you might engage in anti American activities , the USA wouldn’t issue you a visa!

If you come to the Usa with a visa and and take on anti American activities your visa will be revoked!

I find it ironic that the, I ❤️ The US Constitution Trump administration, is now beginning to echo past attempts to limit First Amendment protections on Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Assembly, and Rubio is beginning to sound like Joseph McCarthy from the 1950s Red Scare era, who is now proposing Neo-McCarthism to root out "anti-American activities" and mean speech by foreigners.  What's next?  Root out "anti-American activities" and mean speech by US Citizens? 

It's a slippery slope that I'd advise the Constitution loving DJT to not proceed down. But it's a good question: Are MAGA supporters willing to dismantle the US Constitution for Israel?

USA citizens kill more USA citizens than any other nationality statistics show. About 20,000 per year. 

And the USA has killed the most people in other countries since WW2. Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria etc etc.

And the USA supplied a lot of the bombs that flattened large swathes of Gaza over the last couple of years.
