I'm not going to Hong Kong,

Just saying that my latest trip has opened my eyes.

bob.

Not sure what opened your eyes about Hong Kong. Try Japan. Fantastic for outdoors. Clean. Everything works. Nothing dodgy. Just avoid the big, hyper populated cities. May is one of the best months to go. The weather is pretty much perfect for most of the month of May. The world is your oyster.

Been there, done that.

I'd move there if only I spoke Japanese.

Not sure about living there. It's not International enough. There's only one flavor there and it gets old. But great for extended visits. Go for a month.

Having sex with lots of different people does make you sad and miserable in the end .

You exchange long term contentment for instant temporary gratification

I've met 70yos who married their only lover. They were miserable.

A pill isnt gonna change your life. Any meaningful changes will take hard work and you will feel uncomfortable at many points along that journey. The following will work for most depressed people. Quit all alcohol, tobacco, drugs. Eat healthy and exercise. Nearly impossible to be depressed after that, but thats hard work and most people can’t stand any discomfort.

I do get where nick icp is coming from though.

I have copious amounts of sex with strangers all the time,

and I have multiple different LT girls all across Asia.

Does it make me happy?

In the short term most definitely.

But what is it doing to me mentally long term??

I think that's a good question.

bob.

Your goals and reality are far apart. That's why you are miserable. The sex is an escape from reality but not the cause.

If you are miserable or unhappy, booze or the barstool girlies are only like a band-Aid. A costly one that too.

If you want to really heal the scars, and start to see the great results for yourself, consult a good shrink. And I'm not being smart.

Of course, finding a good reputable and qualified shrink in Thailand, is a totally different story and topic of debate.

Indeed Bob, horrible place! All the sex. Terrible! Low risk of getting attacked in the street for your phone or otherwise, not like in London. Atrocious! Thai food is much better than English food. Dreadful! And the weather in Thailand is so much warmer than in the UK. Horrific! Less bureaucracy in Thailand than the UK. Awful! Lower cost of living in Thailand than in the UK. Abysmal! So can't blame you for rushing back to The Empire. When are you leaving?
