In an unusual domestic squabble in Bo Phloi, Bo Rai district, a woman knocked her inebriated husband unconscious with a swift kick to the neck. The incident unfolded yesterday after the husband, Fongkham, became incoherent with jealousy. Following the altercation, he was rushed to hospital where medics found only minor head wounds, confirming no brain injuries.

 

The couple’s drama drew local attention, particularly due to the husband's subsequent reactions. Despite the altercation, Fongkham expressed no ill will towards his wife, Boonhom, acknowledging his behaviour worsened through excessive drinking. He was discharged from Bo Rai Hospital the same afternoon to continue his recovery at home.

 

 

 

Appearing reconciled, the couple welcomed journalists to their home, where Fongkham pledged to cut back on his drinking, aiming for more moderation in the future. Meanwhile, Boonhom committed to maintaining harmony in their marriage, emphasizing their resolve to prevent serious disputes down the line.

People who drink alcohol need such an awakening. Every glass of alcohol damages the body and will end with huge medical bills later on that may impoverish the family or couple. Wives need to kick sense into their husbands because of this.
