Two boys have been arrested for the fatal shooting of a 33-year-old man in a rubber plantation in Kantang district, Trang province. The teenagers admitted to the killing, citing a drug-related conflict as the motive.

The fatal shooting occurred on 25 March in a rubber plantation located in Soi Tha Pling, Moo 5, Bang Sak subdistrict, Kantang district. The victim, a 33-year-old man, was found dead at the scene.

Following an investigation, police from Kantang Police Station and Trang Provincial Police arrested two suspects:

• “Kong” aged 14

• “Fung” aged 15

Authorities also seized the following evidence:

1. A LLAMA .32 calibre handgun with no serial number

2. Four spent .32 calibre shell casings

3. A black Honda Wave 110 motorcycle, registration from Trang

Police have formally charged both teenagers with murder and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition in a public area.

During questioning, the suspects confessed to the crime, stating that the shooting stemmed from a personal dispute related to drugs. Both were taken into custody along with the seized evidence and handed over to investigators at Kantang Police Station for further legal proceedings.
