No, my inverter doesn't feed the grid, it only takes when no battery and no solar.

That's why you don't need an electro-mechanical ATS.

I cannot see any joke here but someone who got a lot of problems.

Probably Thailand is not the right country for him.

But, isn't this the Country for Old Men?

Yes  they do tend to get things fixed quickly..I also note that the power cuts are less and less frequent as the years go by...when I first moved to Pattaya  there where especially during the rainy season almost a guaranteed power cut  every time it rained (daily)    much better now  as is the speed and price of internet.

In the north at least these tend to happen at the start of rainy season. I think growth from the previous year accumulates and then dries out in the winter/summer and when the first rains come branches come down.

In fact just this evening the power has flickered on and off a few times for 10-20 minutes. Must have been a storm somewhere and they're working to fix downed lines. We're now getting some summer storms and the first rains in 5 months and I've seeing the broken branches all over.

Power failures, micro outages, happen 12 months out of the year, rain or shine.

However, it is quite interesting that they rarely happen from about 9PM to 6AM....why, I am not sure.

Some might say due to less wind at night.

But, i don't think this is it.

Some might say that fewer animals are running around at night, and this might be a factor.

However, why so many micro outages during daytime hours? And, when no wind and no rain?

It's a mystery that the power company is puzzled by, apparently.

You know, guys....

Back in the 1950s.....in the great USA....

We NEVER had power outages like we now have in Thailand, in 2025.

Why is THAT????

What is happening in Thailand that we have so many power outages, and unstable power conditions?

And, is THIS a good thing for the younger generation.

THEY SAY...that we will soon have NUCLEAR POWER generators, and the newest power generation tech here.....

BUT.....

SO FAR....

They cant even deliver stable power for just ONE WEEK, on end.

Are they just JOKING with us.....?

These days, stable electric power is CRUCIAL for almost everything we wish to accomplish.

I think that, MAYBE, the Powers That Be still think they are in the Old Sugarcane Economy of old...

What a JOKE....TOTALLY....

The guys here are just NOT on their game.

They need to get the CHINESE INVOLVED.

The Chinese guys have a FAR HIGHER IQ, as I DO know....

Just invite China into Thailand for about TWO years...and....

The CHINESE will get this place running right, in a hurry.

Because, after so many years, the Thai guys are JUST NOT SMART ENOUGH....so evidently.

YES, folks.....

China could TOTALLY FIX this SMALL place in a HURRY......

I WELCOME China to come here...PDQ....

This is the ONLY way.....

We need a working grid.

And, we need far better infrastructure than any lazy people here have been able to institute...thus far.

This will be BEST for the Thai people......

I LOVE the Chinese.

I want XiJinPing to do his best for Thailand.....and....

GET THIS ELECTRIC GRID working RIGHT...please.....SOON.....!

Why not get some solar?
