1. If you click on the google map first rather than App its often cheaper.

2. If you book 1n at a time its cheaper than 4n in bulk.

3. Flights through Agoda have lower card fees. Either zero or low.

But you run the risk of having to change rooms each night. No thanks.

Someone should start a threat on airline points.

I've never bothered to pay much attention to airline points and credit card points, but apparently, it's a great game for those who know the rules.

I know a girl in California that is into points.  When she doesn't have anything else to do, she'll fly around in airplanes, just to get points.   How that works, I'm to sure, but she wouldn't be doing that if the flights cost more than the points she gets.

Points are only about 10% of cost. She must love flying.

I have had Marriott and United status for 25 years.  If one plays the game the benefits are pretty good.

The girl you know may need flight mikes or trips in order to maintain higher status.   Reaching that status could provide her with benefits such as business class upgrades. You can also buy miles or trips, but usually cheaper to actually take a flight.

It never made much sense to me, but knowing her, she wasn't doing that because she loved flying.

Maybe flying doesn't always make sense, but it must sometimes.
