Why do you all anti Trumpers keep embarrassing yourselves with all these silly threads.

Just reading the titles is enough to ignore them.

Yet here you are, convinced your own viewpoint isn't equally laughable.

America should hang its head in shame for becoming a reality TV show rather than a country. Of course, that seems to be the case with much of the Western world, an echo chamber where everyone on the so-called left or right seem to be giving up on pragmatism,  tolerance, and diversity in favor of hollow populism on either side of the spectrum

He was a margin trader. Trade moves that bounced off the top of the box.

You comment about what others do or say but how do you trade?  What are your methods?

Buy and hold when cheap. I will let you know when I think stocks are cheap.

For fun….google half of what he writes.   He keeps everything he writes in a file to cut and paste into future posts.

Leftists are weird.

Trump reserved some of his highest tarriffs for SE Asian countries.  I've just been looking at the SET50 (Thailand's equivalent of the S&P500 or FTSE100):

The SET50 itself was down 3.57% today but there were some exceptional standouts:
- Xiaomi (phones, household products, now cars) fell 20.59% today.

- PTT Global Chemical fell 11.24% today.

Elsewhere in SE Asia:

The Hang Seng (Hong Kong) is down 13.22% today.

The Nikkei 225 (Japan) is down 7.73% today.

The Singapore stock market is down 7.46%

Our immediate problems may be closer to home.

OK, it's time to section 25 out both the chief clown and chief ass. clown and get some grownups in the WH.

This can't be allowed to continue anymore. If he was only destroying the US I'd say "OK, you asked for this". But he's taking the whole world with him.

Lock him up!

If andy MAGIdiots here have pension funds , stocks or an interest in the strength of the dollar I applaud your sacrifices on the altar of Trumpism so that maybe , just maybe the US economy may turn around in 5 years or more. But I'm afraid it will be neither - he will destroy your wealth along with your country.

Now is the best of times IMHO.

Can't say I really care about the billions of other people, my life is all about me ....... me, me, me, me, me!

AS you say, it's sweet for you. For most of the billions on the planet it's <deleted>.

I don't know if I should laugh or be shocked at the spectacle of world leaders and so called economic experts running around like Chicken Little screaming that the sky is falling. I lean towards laughing.

Wake up folks, the 1% probably engineer an economic "crisis" now and then to make more profit, 1998, 2008 etc. IMO we are overdue for another, though they may have been satisfied with profits from the numerous wars for a while.

IMO this is merely a consequence of putting the economic future of the planet in the hands of the stock market and on one country. Do stupid things and end up with an inevitable disaster.

It's about time the rest of the planet's countries took their heads out of their <deleted> and realised that if they build an economic relationship that does not depend on the US they'll all be better off.

When NZ faced an economic disaster because Britain joined the EEC and stabbed us in the back, we didn't cry about it, but we put on the big boy pants, and dealt with it like grown ups.

I suppose times have changed, and big boy pants are in short supply among the cry babies in charge now.

This turmoil is not having a major impact on my life, at least not yet.  However, I do feel for those whose lives will soon be turned upside down if this insanity continues.  And if the GOP does nothing, I don't think it will not survive in its present form.

My response is to wonder how the countries of the planet were convinced to buy into a corrupt economic system that only benefits the wealthiest members of the human race ( probably because their leaders also benefit from that corrupt system ).

Can't fix stupid.

This too will end and become another lesson not learned as with the 2008 fiasco, caused by Mickey Duck economic criminality ( for which no responsible person has been imprisoned ). IMO the crooks are running the world now.

Conclusion- if humans are too stupid to realise that the present system isn't fit for purpose and do something about it, they are condemned to repeat it ad nauseam.

The problem is too few are on the same page.  Compromise has gone out the window along with common sense.

If it wasn't now, it would be later.

Whom did you attack for the fiasco of 2008? That man made disaster will probably be worse than the present shambles.

Likely the craven "leaders" of the world will crawl to the W H and smooze the incumbent to be nice to them in exchange for letting them off the tariffs- job done for Trump. ( BTW the person meeting Trump at the moment should give lessons to Zelensky how to suck up to Trump- talk about bending over and talking out of his <deleted>. I :cheesy: like a drain.

Most were sold on capitalism because it brought prosperity and helped to raise the standard of living for many.  Then greed set in and corruption took over.  Laws were tweaked and loopholes used by the unscrupulous to accumulate obscene wealth at the expense of the working class.  This is the situation the world is in today.  Trump's so-called solution is only compounding the disparity in wealth.  And he continues to distort the facts with his outrageous lies.
