Hi guys. I intend to buy the PG-1 Yamaha 115c motorbike. The location is in Bangkok. Its the new modern store at the corner of that main street. ( actually hard to get to it due to the one lane and going south and then an immediate left turn.

Anyway, can you suggest an insurance company that has an English speaking staff. My location is not far from DMK airport.

Also, what should I be looking for as to whatever, don't know yet.

The shop where you buy the bike should be able to arrange the Por-Ror -Bor,the bike insurance and tax,

As for speaking English, your best idea would be taking someone with you who can do the translation bit.

Have done it online with an Insurance Broker, in my case I used AA Insurance. Was no need to go to any Office in person.

Did it with Roojai online, they have a really good website, can choose various options etc., can get an instant quote...

The only problem was, must pay with Prompt Pay app only, no other way to pay...!!!? I don't have the app, but managed to find a Thai to pay for me and I paid them cash...

I wish they change this so we can go to the bank and pay or via 7-11 or ATM or something, none available now... 🤔

Hi /. are you buying a new bike? from a dealer

When i bought my Honda Moove they gave me great insurance free for a  year!  (covered repairs, accident)

Then you can re-new this yearly up to 5 years old (which i did).

After this there are not many companies will insure you?

But i did a lot of searching around and found CheckDi broker, good they have Line ID & email.

They sent me many options for over 5 years old motorcycle!

Which i took out - accident costs, hospital costs, repair costs, 3rd party more (less cover than Honda insurance but ok)

so far i am very pleased with them, if i have to claim? lets see  premium 2.5 k Moove

if help you or others ( better than parabor! )

Thank you. I will have a Thai person with me at that time.

Thank you kindly for taking the time to post a very helpful post. My situation will be I'm in my 70's now. Can I still get insurance?
